- A glass measuring cup with a spout is convenient to pour the lipstick out later, but if you don't have one, you can use a regular glass bowl.
- Do not put the capsules in the cup.
- If you are lazy to clean the silicon shovel after you are done, you can use a disposable plastic spoon.
Measure 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of vaseline in a microwave bowl. If you want, you can use 2 bowls containing 2 different colored lip glosses, or use 1 bowl to make multiple tubes of the same color. Since the bowl does not require much storage, you can use a very small bowl to avoid waste.
- If you don't have vaseline, you can use a different kerosene wax.
- If you don't have lipstick, you can use eyeshadow or blush to color the lip gloss.
- At this point, you can add 1-2 drops of your favorite essential oil or a pinch of glitter to the mixture.
Heat in the microwave for 10-30 seconds. Microwave the bowl and set the time for 10 seconds for the first time. Check after the time is up to see if the mixture has dissolved. If it hasn't melted, put the bowl back on and cook for another 10-20 seconds.
- Be careful when using the microwave. The bowl can be very hot after it has been cooked.
Advice: If you don't have a microwave, use a water bath to melt the ingredients.
- Don't worry if you don't have a disposable spoon. It just makes your cleaning a little lighter, but you can use a regular spoon and rinse it off after you are done.
Microwave the coconut oil and cocoa butter mixture. Measure 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of coconut oil and 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of cocoa butter in a microwave bowl. Heat ingredients in a microwave for 10 seconds until they melt and form a homogeneous mixture.
- Melting time of the mixture will not exceed 30-40 seconds.
Do you know: Vitamin E helps to protect lips from the harmful effects of sunlight while also moisturizing and softening lips.
- You can also add in some eyeshadow, blusher or beetroot powder to color the lip gloss.
- The more powder you use, the darker the color of the lipstick is. Experiment with different amounts of powder to find your favorite color.
- Red, pink, purple, and even more intense shades of lipstick can all be added to lip gloss to create color.
- For your safety, don't use manual glitter. Cosmetic glitter is manufactured to come into contact with human skin and is not toxic if accidentally swallowed.
Advice: Be careful not to use too much glitter. Using too much glitter can alter the consistency of the lipstick and create grain in the lipstick.

- Clean the mixing bowl by soaking it in a pot covered with boiling water. The ingredients will be melted again and you wipe the bowl with a sponge. If you use beeswax, throw away the sponge after using it instead of keeping it for next time.
