This wikiHow teaches you how to check the amount of RAM in use and the total memory on your Android device. Although you can no longer check the RAM in the "Memory" section of the Settings app, you can use the Developer Options hidden menu to view the RAM statistics above. Android device. Advice

• RAM is commonly understood as "Memory" while the hard drive is "Storage", but some sources may use the word "Memory" when referring to RAM and internal memory.

Warning

• Unfortunately, Android Oreo has removed the option to view RAM from the normal settings of the Settings app on the stock Android operating system.
