You can completely clean shoes that are too dirty and smelly with a washing machine. Shoes made from burlap or imitation leather can be easily washed in a light wash, then dried. However, you should not wash genuine leather shoes, formal shoes (such as high heels) or washing machine boots, but wash by hand.

Part 1 of 2: Clean shoes before washing
