This is an article on how to block users on Facebook so that they cannot find, view or contact your account. You can do this on mobile apps and websites on your computer. If you block someone, you can always unblock.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: On the phone

1. 

   in the top-right corner of your Facebook page to open a drop-down menu.

   Click Settings (Settings) is near the bottom of the drop-down menu.

   Click Blocking (Block) is on the left side of the Settings page.

   Click the name field. It's the entry with the text "Add name or email" just below the "Block users" heading.

   Enter your username, then click Block (Block out). If the person's email address is available, you can also enter it instead.

   Click Block (Block) next to the name of the person you want to block. Facebook will display a list of names that are almost identical to the names you entered; click Block (Block) next to the name of the person you want to block.

   Click Block (Block) when asked. It's a blue button below the pop-up window. This will add the person to the block list. advertisement

Advice

• You can also block users on Facebook by going to their profile page, selecting the icon ... near the top of the page and select Block (Block) in the menu that just appears.
• Before blocking someone, you should consider unsubscribing to no longer see their updates.

Warning

• After unblocking someone, if you want to block, wait 48 hours.
