While some people are not afraid to let their nipples stick out after their coats, and even consider it a trend, many people don't want to show their nipples. If you want to keep it private, you need to cover your nipples to feel more comfortable with your body and clothes.

Steps

Method 1 of 3: Cover the nipples

   Cover the nipples under the thin cloth with silicone pads. These products are small round or flower shaped patches that cover the nipples, so they're great for deep necklines and thin or translucent tops that reveal the nipples. Place your face on your nipples and press lightly. Choose colors close to your skin tone for the least exposure.
   • You can buy nipple patches online or at bras and accessories stores.
   • Wash the patch with mild soap and water after use and store it in its packaging for reuse. The adhesive will eventually go away, but many patches are guaranteed to last 30-50 times.

   Try disposable nipple pads if you don't need them repeatedly and don't want to be expensive. Similar to silicone patches, disposable patches are placed directly on top of the nipples and held in place with adhesive. These are cheaper and sell in packs of 4-6 because they are designed for single use only. Some people prefer to use this type because it is less visible than the silicone patch when wearing tight clothing (silicone is thicker and is more likely to stick under the fabric). However, the downside of this disposable patch is that it is difficult to cover the hard nipples.
   • Try both to see which works best.

   Cut out a pad daily to make a homemade nipple patch. You can cut the bandage in half, then cut two circles wide enough to cover the nipples. Hold the sticky side down. Place the two bandages on your nipples and throw them away when you're done.
   • As with disposable patches, this may not cover a hard nipple under tight clothing. You should try it at home before wearing it on the street.
   • You can also use a bandage or surgical tape.

Method 2 of 3: Wear a well-covered bra

   Wear a bra made specifically for a T-shirt to cover your nipples underneath your normal shirt. To make sure your nipples don't bounce through the fabric of your shirt, look for a bra with a thick cup (bust), more commonly known as a cast bra or a T-shirt. This type of bra does not have extra thick padding, but the material is strong enough that the nipples are not exposed.
   • Padded bras will add extra coverage to the nipples.

   Wear a cordless bra and an open-back bra. This type of bra has a cup attached to the breasts instead of using a strap over the shoulder and behind. This type of bras also usually has a buckle in the middle like a bra, which attaches two cups to each other to lift the chest. You can buy these bras online or at some lingerie stores.
   • To wear a cordless bra or an open-back bra, bend over and stick the cup on the outside of each breast, then stick the two cups together to create a cleavage.
   • Wash the sticky side of the bra with soap and water after use. Dry and store in its original packaging for reuse.

   Stick the nipple patch inside the thin bra for an extra layer of coverage. If you prefer to wear a lace bras or flannel bras, put on the nipple patch before wearing it. That way you can enjoy the beauty and feel of a thin bra without having to worry about a frowning nipple.

Method 3 of 3: Take advantage of the outfit

   Wear clothes that are thick or loose to avoid getting too tight. Thin and tight tops will make the nipples more visible. A wide shirt or thick fabric skirt can cover the nipples without any other accessories.
   • You can also look for tops or dresses that have two layers on the top, such as tops with a bra or with a lace on the chest.

   Choose a dark shirt with patterns that distract you from your nipples. Bright colors like white and pale pink will make the nipples more visible than dark colors like black, purple, and dark blue. Patterns and patterns can also help camouflage the nipples.
   • Avoid wearing tops that attract attention to your nipples with lines or other styling elements.

   Wear a bra underneath a loose top. If your shirt is loose and loose but the transparent material exposes the nipples, try wearing a bra underneath.
