This article will guide you on how to use available WiFi connection to make calls on Samsung Galaxy phones.

Steps

1. 

   to turn on WiFi. This icon will turn green.

   on the Apps menu to open Settings.
   • Alternatively, you can slide down the notification bar from the top of the screen and tap the icon

   . This option will allow you to use WiFi connection to make phone calls on Galaxy.

   Click the tab tab Calling preference (Favorite call). This is below the WiFi calling switch. Available WiFi calling options will be listed.

   Choose preferred call for your Galaxy. Options include WiFi preferred (WiFi preferred), Cellular network preferred and Never use cellular network. Tap the option you want to use.
   • WiFi preferred Allows you to prioritize using a WiFi connection over the mobile network for all calls. Thus, you will never use up the service provider's call minutes when connecting to WiFi.
   • Cellular network preferred Allows you to use cellular networks for calls and automatically switch to WiFi calling when there is no cellular service available.
   • Never use cellular network will disable the mobile network and use only WiFi calls. With this option, you will always need to be connected to WiFi to make calls.
