Slime is a lot of fun to play with. There are many different ways you can make slime, but sometimes you want to make a certain type of slime and you don't have the necessary ingredients at home. You can make excellent slime with shampoo and toothpaste. Keep reading to find out how to do that.

1. Make sure you have the right kind of shampoo. If you want to make slime with shampoo and toothpaste, you have to make sure you have the right shampoo. It doesn't matter what kind of shampoo you use, as long as the shampoo is thick and not too runny. When it comes to toothpaste, you can use almost any brand.
2. Pour the shampoo into a bowl. Add the toothpaste. Use equal amounts of shampoo and toothpaste, but be careful not to overfill the bowl.
3. Mix well. Mix the shampoo and toothpaste with a spoon or a stir stick. Keep going until the shampoo and toothpaste are completely mixed. How long you spend on this depends on the brands of shampoo and toothpaste you use and how quickly you mix. Be careful not to mix too quickly. You don't want to spill mucus all over the place, of course.
   • This may seem obvious, but don't forget to wash the spoon afterwards. It will not taste good if you put the mixture in your mouth.
4. Place the shampoo and toothpaste mixture in the freezer. Leave it there for 10 minutes or more, depending on the shampoo you used. Do not forget to check the mixture so that it does not freeze and become hard like ice. The mixture should be firm, but not hard.
5. Remove the mixture from the freezer. After ten minutes, remove the mixture from the freezer and mix it again. You can add more toothpaste or put the slime back in the freezer while the mixture is still wet and sticky. You can also sprinkle cornstarch or flour over the mixture, if you have one at home. Don't add too much, though.
   • If you want colored slime, stir food coloring into the slime and put the slime in the freezer for two minutes.
   • If you want glitter, stir the glitter into the slime and put the slime in the freezer for two minutes.
6. Ready. Keep the slime in a jar or other sealed container.
