Guess the Person is a classic game that has been played since the 1800s. To play Guess the Person, a player invents a person, an object or an animal, and the other players can ask twenty questions to try to guess it. This game is very suitable for long, boring car rides, intermediate hours at school or for people who are learning Dutch and want to expand their vocabulary.

To step

Method 1 of 2: Play as the questioner

  1. Pick a winner. After the twentieth question (remember that guessing also counts) the game is over. If the other has not been able to read your mind, you win. Time to fool him or her again.
    • If the other has guessed the object, let him or her be the game leader. Hopefully the other person is just as nice to you as you were to him or her.

Tips

  • Don't pick an item you know very little about. You will not be able to answer the questions accurately.
  • Do not choose an object that is too easy or impossible to guess. This will ruin the game and none of the players will like it.

Warnings

  • If you choose an object that is almost impossible to guess, be prepared for your friend to pick an object for you that is also very difficult to guess. Whoever bounces the ball can expect it back.
