There is nothing more fun than going out with your best friends. It doesn't have to be difficult at all to make the sleepover a lot of fun. Have snacks and drinks to share with your friends and plan some fun indoor and outdoor activities. You and your friends can choose from many different options to make it a fun sleepover, and it can be a time together you won't soon forget!

To step

Method 1 of 3: Provide snacks and drinks

  1. Have plenty of snacks. One of the best things about a sleepover is snacks. You can get the typical snacks for the evening, such as chips, popcorn, cookies, ice cream and candy. It's also a good idea to include a few healthy choices, such as fruits or fresh vegetables.
    • When choosing the snacks for a sleepover, you have to take into account special requirements due to allergies, religion, or even if one or more of your friends has braces.
  2. Try a few new types of soda. There should be enough to drink at a sleepover. Consider, for example, soft drinks, water and other things, such as iced tea or lemonade. You can also ask your parents to mix non-alcoholic versions of well-known drinks - such as a strawberry daiquiri. These are a lot of fun to make and can make an evening extra special.
  3. Don't forget dinner. If your girlfriends come around dinnertime, you will have to offer them a little more than just snacks. You can make it up yourself, or of course ask your friends what they would like to eat. You can order pizza, or set up a taco bar in the kitchen.

Method 2 of 3: Schedule indoor activities

  1. Listen to your favorite music. One of the easiest ways to get the party started is to play some music. You can listen to songs on your iPod, CD, MP3 player or a radio. Alternate who can be the DJ and let everyone choose their own music.
  2. Do karaoke. If one of your friends has a computer and internet, do karaoke. YouTube has many karaoke songs you can use. It's a fun and free way to do karaoke at home.
  3. Turn your room into a mini cinema. One of the best things about a sleepover is staying up late to watch movies. Make it a mini-cinema by stacking the movie you want to watch next to the largest screen in the house. Serve it with snacks normally found in a movie theater - like popcorn and candy - and put pillows or blankets on the floor so your friends can sit comfortably.
  4. Make it a spa night. Ask your friends to bring their favorite beauty products. This can vary from nail polish, facial products and make-up. You can also ask if they would like to bring their own bathrobe and slippers. Then you create a place with small mirrors for each of your friends. Give each other a facial, paint each other's nails and do each other's hair and make-up. Have some relaxing music playing in the background to make it look even more like a real beauty salon.
  5. Make jewelry. Hobby shops often have small, inexpensive jewelry-making kits. Get one for every girlfriend and make your own jewelry. With most you can make bracelets, necklaces and earrings. Suggest making something that matches.
  6. Play games. You can game, play a board game or play cards; every game is suitable. If you wish, you can also play games for smaller children, such as hide and seek. You can make it more exciting by playing with flashlights in the dark (if your parents allow that).
    • Act, Dare or Truth is a fun game to play, and you don't need anything special.
    • Try Twister! This is a fun game that is guaranteed to make everyone laugh.
  7. Tell each other scary stories. It can be a lot of fun telling each other scary stories in a dark room. If you are going to do this, make sure your friends love scary stories. You are not supposed to get really scared or want to go home.

Method 3 of 3: Staying outside

  1. Ask your friends for ideas. Make some time in your sleepover plan so your friends can make suggestions. Make a list of suggestions, then choose one or two places to go.
    • Make sure your parents approve of this plan. They may want the plan for the evening to be finalized, without adding new things at the last minute, when everyone has already arrived.
  2. Go outside. You don't have to go to a special place during a sleepover.Going outside - in the backyard or perhaps a nearby park - can make the sleepover more fun and special.
    • If you expect to go outside, make sure your friends bring suitable clothes and shoes.
    • If it's hot outside, you can all bring towels and sunbathe - just put on sunscreen first!
    • When it's cold outside and it snows, dress up and have a snowball fight or build a snowman!
    • You can also use an outdoor location as a background for a fun photo session with your friends.
  3. Go camping. You can just go camping in the backyard during the sleepover. Make sure you have a tent and ask your friends to bring sleeping bags. You can also make a campfire if there is a fire pit, and grill hot dogs or make s'more's.
    • If you have the sleepover in the winter, or if the weather isn't great, you can still go camping. Set up the tent in the living room and make smells in the microwave.

Tips

  • If you're inviting multiple friends, don't include someone who could mess up or get along with someone else!
  • Make a list of interesting things to do before the guests arrive so you don't get bored but have a bunch of fun ideas. If you have no idea what you could do, you will come across as a dull and disorganized hostess.
  • Ask your friends to bring snacks that you can share.
  • Don't worry about your devices all the time!
  • Be respectful when you are a guest with someone.
  • If you are a guest, make sure to bring some extra clothes in case you do unexpected and / or messy things.
  • Make sure you are well prepared. It's no fun having to listen to someone's whimper because you forgot something!

Warnings

  • Make sure you know if your girlfriend is afraid of something or can't eat something.
  • Don't do things you know you shouldn't do.
  • Stay out of other people's bedrooms in the house.
