This article teaches you how to use NSFW (not safe for work) content on Reddit on your iPhone or iPad. Adult content is already turned off by default when you create a new account with the Reddit app from the Apple Store. If you log in with an account with NSFW content enabled, you will need to open a web browser and log in to Reddit to change this.

To step

1. Go to https://www.reddit.com in the browser of your iPhone. Open your favorite browser and go to the home page of Reddit.
   • You may see a popup asking you to open the app; you have to tap on the link "Mobile website" here. So don't tap "Continue".
2. Tap on Log in / Sign up. It's in the top right corner.
3. Enter your username and password and tap Log in. Enter your username and password for your Reddit account, then tap at the bottom Log in.
4. Tap on ☰. This is the icon with the three horizontal lines in the top right corner.
5. Tap on Settings. You will now be taken to the Settings menu, on the desktop version of the website.
6. Log in again. Enter your username and password for your Reddit account, then tap Log in at the right.
7. Select the check box next to the text "hide images when NSFW / 18 +". This option can be found at the top of the Media section, at the top of the settings page. Make sure this box is checked so that NSFW content is hidden by default.
8. Uncheck the box next to the text “I am over 18 years old and willing to see adult content”. This option can be found in the Content Options section at the bottom of the page.
9. Uncheck the box next to the text "include not safe for work (NSFW) search results in searches". This option can also be found in the Content Options section.
10. Tap on save options. This is at the very bottom of the page. You can now no longer see adult content on the website or in the Reddit app on your iPhone or iPad.
