Magnetic false eyelashes are false eyelashes that are easier to apply than false eyelashes that are fixed with glue. Magnetic false eyelashes have a rim on the top and bottom that has magnets attached to it. The idea is that you simply make sure that your eyelashes are sandwiched between the magnetic false eyelashes, because then the eyelashes click together. You can wear magnetic eyelashes with makeup, but use makeup products that cannot damage the eyelashes.

Part 1 of 3: Apply your daily makeup

1. Put on all your makeup first. This is especially important if you have never applied magnetic eyelashes before, as it is always a bit more difficult to apply the first time. Put on all your other makeup first before putting on your magnetic false eyelashes. Otherwise, your makeup may look messy if the lashes get in the way of applying the makeup.
2. Only apply mascara to the inner corners of your natural lashes. The magnetic eyelashes only cover the outer corners of your eyes. Put some mascara on your natural lashes on the inside of your eyes before applying the false lashes. This creates a balance in the look of your eyelashes.
   • Choose a mascara that has a small brush. This makes it easier to cover only part of your eyelashes with mascara.
3. Use an eye pencil as an eyeliner. Liquid eyeliner is more likely to stick to false eyelashes. And that in turn can affect how long they stay put. If you wear eyeliner, opt for eye pencil if you wear magnetic false eyelashes.
   • In general, it is better not to wear liquid make-up if you are wearing false eyelashes.
4. Avoid getting mascara on your magnetic lashes. Be very careful not to get the mascara on your eyelashes. If you keep false eyelashes clean, they will last longer. Remember to only put on some mascara before applying your magnetic false eyelashes.

Part 2 of 3: Applying the magnetic false eyelashes

1. Place a microfiber cloth in front of you. When applying the lashes, put a microfiber cloth in front of you. Place the magnetic false eyelashes on this cloth. If you drop them during application, they will be easier to find when they hit the cloth.
2. Place the top strip of lashes on top of your lashes. The top strip has a dot or other mark on it, which shows that it is the top row of lashes. Read the instructions on the package to find out what the top strip of lashes is. Remove the top strip of lashes from the packaging, and place it just over your lashes, on the outside of your eye. Try to place the top strip of lashes as close to your lash line as possible.
3. Put on the bottom lash strip. The lower lash strip has a different color dot. Use your index finger and thumb to grab the bottom lash strip. Place this just below the top lash strip. The magnets should now click together.
4. Take off the eyelashes. If you want to remove the lashes, gently grab them with your thumb and forefinger. Move them between your fingers until you notice the magnets separate. Then you carefully remove the magnetic false eyelashes from your natural eyelashes.
   • You can reuse magnetic false eyelashes; you can use them several times before having to replace them. Once removed, you can return them to their original packaging for the next time you want to use them. Keep the box in a safe place so that it cannot be damaged.

Part 3 of 3: Avoid common mistakes

1. Wash your hands before applying the lashes. You should wash your hands every time you touch your eyes and eyelids. Wash your hands with clean water, rub them with soap, and wash for about 20 seconds before rinsing. Dry your hands with a clean towel.
2. Let your eye makeup dry before applying the eyelashes. You may need to arrange the lashes a few times before they are in the right place. So let your other eye make-up dry thoroughly before applying the eyelashes. Perhaps it is useful to apply little eye make-up as long as you are not completely used to applying your magnetic eyelashes.
3. Practice wearing the magnetic lashes at home for a while before going out with them. It may take a while to get used to the magnetic lashes. Practice wearing them before wearing them elsewhere as they may look a little strange the first few times you put them on.
