While it's not possible to easily view Instagram posts archived on a PC or Mac, you can use BlueStacks and view the mobile app on Windows or Mac. This article will teach you how to view archived posts on Instagram on PC and Mac thanks to BlueStacks.

Part 1 of 3: Installing BlueStacks

1. Go to https://www.bluestacks.com/ in an internet browser. Popular browsers include Firefox and Chrome.
   • This download is for an Android emulator, so you can use your Android apps on your computer as you would with your Android device.
2. Click on the green button Download BlueStacks. The browser will automatically detect whether you are using Mac or Windows and download accordingly. A pop-up window will appear for the download location.
3. click on Save. The installation file will be saved in the location you chose in the previous step, probably the Downloads folder.
4. Click on the installed file and follow the on-screen instructions to install BlueStack. click on Yes to allow changes when prompted. Read and accept all terms and conditions and continue with the installation procedure.
5. click on Install now. During the download you will see a progress bar.
   • After the app has been downloaded, you will see a progress bar showing how the installation is progressing.

Part 2 of 3: Download Instagram

1. Open BlueStacks. This app can be found in your Start menu or in the Applications folder.
   • It may take a while the first time you start BlueStacks.
   • The app will first ask you to sign in to or create a Google account.
   • You will be presented with a list of all installed apps that you can use with BlueStacks.
2. Click on the search bar. It's in the top right corner of the window. A list of the most searched games is expanded.
3. Type "Instagram" and press ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return. This will open a new tab called "App Center" in your app window or search results.
4. Click on Instagram by Instagram. A Google Play Store window will open on Instagram's detail page.
   • If you have not yet signed up for a Google account or created a new account, you will be asked to do so again. You need a Google account to download Android apps.
5. Click on the green button to install.

Part 3 of 3: Using Instagram to view archived posts

1. Click on the green button To open. The Instagram app will launch in BlueStacks. Your app window can be reduced to indicate the size of a phone.
2. click on login or Create new account. You can log in with your Facebook account or with your Instagram email address and password.
3. Click on your profile picture or silhouette click on ☰. It's in the top right corner of the screen.
4. click on Archive. This is usually the first item in the menu next to the rewind icon. A list of your archived stories will appear.
5. Click the Story Archive drop-down menu. A drop-down menu will appear.
6. click on Message archive. A list of your archived messages will appear.
7. Click on a message to view it.
   • Your posts and all original replies will be loaded.
   • To remove a message from the archive, click the three-dot menu icon in the top right corner of the message, then click View by profile. It will reappear on your timeline where it was originally.
