You can make a voluminous wreath with lots of loops, or you can use burlap weave to make a floppy bow that looks a bit more rustic. Whatever you choose, with few materials and a little practice you can create the perfect bow for your wreath.

Method 1 of 3: Make a voluminous bow from iron wire ribbon

1. Cut a 10 to 15 centimeter piece of floral wire. Set it aside in a place where you can easily find it later. You will use this piece of thread to keep the entire bow together.
   • If you don't have floral wire, you can also use a pipe cleaner.
2. Squeeze the end of the circle with your non-dominant hand. Where the end of the ribbon meets the rest of the ribbon, pinch the seam and hold it between the fingers of your non-dominant hand. This way you can make the rest of the bow with your dominant hand.
   • You use your non-dominant hand to keep the ribbon together all the time while making the bow.
3. Cut a piece of floral wire measuring 10 to 15 centimeters. Set it aside in a place where you can easily find it later. You will use this piece of thread to keep the entire bow together when it is finished.
   • If you don't have floral wire, you can also use a pipe cleaner.
4. Stop making loops when you have an even number of loops. Make six to ten loops in total, or more if you want to make a very large bow.
   • Make a symmetrical bow with an even number of loops.
5. Cut triangles from the ends to add some extra flair to your bow. Instead of cutting the ends of the bow straight, cut out triangles to give the bow a rustic and authentic look.
   • It's fine if the triangles aren't quite the same, but try to make them roughly the same size.
