The NutriBuller is a blender designed to concentrate nutrients from fruits and vegetables. This article will teach you how to use both functions of the NutriBullet, making drinks and making powders. It also teaches you how to clean the NutriBullet.

To step

Part 1 of 2: Concentrate and grind with the NutriBullet

  1. Make a distinction between the 2 blades. There is a general concentrate blade that has 4 blades, and a grinder blade that has only 1 blade. The general knife blade is used for making drinks from fruits and vegetables. The grinding blade is used to grind dry ingredients into powders. You can change the blade depending on what you are going to make, a drink or a powder.
  2. Use the NutriBullet on a flat surface, near an electrical outlet. A kitchen counter or table is best. Keep the NutriBullet base away from water when using it. And now; plug it into the socket. You connect the base to the socket, this is the part of the device where the jug is placed on.
  3. Fill the high or low pitcher with the desired ingredients. Use fruits and vegetables that you like to make a nutrient-rich drink, or fill the pitcher with ingredients you want to make powder from, such as nuts or seeds. The tall jug has a capacity of 680 grams and the small jug has a capacity of 500 grams. Do not fill the jug beyond the max.
    • For nutrient-rich drinks, add 50% vegetables and 50% fruit. You will then receive a drink that is filled with vitamins.
    • Chop the fruits and vegetables if they don't fit in the jug.
    • Fill the pitcher with almonds or oat flakes to make a powder that you can add to yogurt or cereal.
  4. Add moisture when making a drink. The amount of moisture you add will determine the consistency of your drink, so use less liquid if you want a lumpy drink. Never fill the jug beyond the max. You can use water, juice, almond milk, or any other liquid of your choice.
  5. Place the knife blade you want to use on the jug. Once you have put all the ingredients for your drink or powder in the jug, seal it with the knife blade of your choice. Press down and turn so that the blade is firmly attached to the jug.
  6. With the blade down, press the jug onto the base. There are two grooves on either side of the NutriBullet logo on the base. In addition, there are two round protrusions on the jug where your ingredients are; align the protrusions with the grooves. Then push the jar down to mix the ingredients.
    • Lift the jar up and out of the base to stop.
    • Mixing the ingredients should only take a few seconds.
  7. Tap or shake the jar to loosen ingredients. Sometimes ingredients get stuck, especially if there is not enough liquid in the jug. Tap or shake the jar to loosen these ingredients so that everything is mixed well.
    • You can also add more liquid if needed by removing the pitcher from the base, removing the knife blade, and then adding more liquid.
    • You can gently tap or shake the entire NutriBullet against anything, without removing the jug from the base.
  8. Use the resealable lids to store drinks. Each NutriBuller comes with two lids for when you don't finish your drink. Press them firmly on the jar and keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

Part 2 of 2: Cleaning the NutriBullet

  1. Wash the jug and lid in the top rack of the dishwasher. However, the base and knife blade are not dishwasher safe. Wash the jug and lid with a normal wash cycle.
  2. Wash the jug, lid and knife blade with warm, soapy water. Use normal dish soap and water to rinse. Be careful when handling the very sharp knife blade.
  3. Wash the base of the NutriBullet with a damp cloth. Unplug the appliance before cleaning it. Use a damp cloth to wipe off any residue.
  4. Clean caked, dry residue by mixing soapy water in the NutriBullet. Use the grinding blade for this. Fill the pitcher 2/3 full with soap and then mix for 30 seconds. The dry residue will then come off. You can then clean the jug in the normal way, by hand or in the dishwasher.

Tips

  • Apple seeds, apricot seeds, cherry seeds, avocado seeds and plum seeds are not allowed in the blender. Other hard substances that are not intended for the blender are also not allowed.
  • Make sure the two bulges are placed in the two grooves, facing forward and with the NutriBullet logo facing you. There is also one on the back, but it will not work.

Warnings

  • When you're done adding your fruits and vegetables, make sure the jar is secure. You don't want liquid splashing all over the place.
  • Do not add hot liquids to the NutriBullet; only water at room temperature.
  • Always remove apple seeds, peach seeds, avocado seeds, etc. Seeds and kernels are poisonous when mixed in a blender.
  • Although the NutriBullet can crush ice, the blades are not designed for that. You can use a few ice cubes in your NutriBlast smoothie recipe, as long as you also use water. The ice should not take up more than 25% of the total ingredients when making a smoothie.
  • Never immerse the cord, plug and base of the NutriBullet in water.
  • Do not put the NutriBullet in the microwave.
  • The sound of the mixing can be very loud depending on what you are grinding.
