A collage is a fun way to share photos that tell a whole story with your friends. Whether it's vacation photos or photos from a party, collages help you keep great memories so you can enjoy them forever. This article will teach you to create collages on your phone and share them on Instagram for all your friends to see. Read on to find out how.

1. Download Instagram if you haven't already. Instagram is a free mobile app to edit and share digital photos or videos with friends via mobile devices. To download it, go to the App Store on your phone or other mobile device and type "Instagram" in the search box.
2. Download a photo editing app that you can use to create collages. You can't create collages within Instagram, so you'll need a separate app to create the collage, save it to your phone, then upload it to Instagram. Before downloading the app, make sure you can create collages with it, as not all photo editing apps can do that. Try Instapic Frames, Pic Collage, Collage Shaper, Photo Shaper, or Collage Maker.
   • Instapic Frames is a free app where you can choose from all kinds of shapes, edit photos individually and then upload directly to Instagram. This app is recommended for Instagram users as it uses the same square format.
   • Pic Collage is a free app where you can make collages in 15 different shapes with up to 9 photos at a time.
   • Collage Shaper is another free app that allows you to create collages in different shapes such as hearts, stars, butterflies, palm trees and so on.
3. Create your collage. Select the photos you want to use and upload them to the photo editing app you have chosen. You also need to choose a shape and, depending on the app you're using, the correct thickness of the borders.
4. Save the collage to your camera roll. Some apps, such as Instapic Frames, allow you to import the collage directly into Instagram. If so, you don't need to save it to your phone first.
5. Upload the collage to Instagram. To upload an image to Instagram, click the camera button on your screen and select the button that appears immediately to the right with the polaroid image on it.
6. Edit and share your collage. Choose the filter you want (or don't choose a filter) and share the collage when you're done.
7. Have fun with your photos!

Tips

• If you want to edit each photo in the collage differently with Instagram filters, you need to edit them individually with Instagram first, keep the edited versions on your camera roll and then upload them to the photo editing app.
