We all have a gift for someone dear to us at one point or another. But such an ordinary gift box is so boring! Well, then we brighten it up a bit!

To step

1. Find a small cardboard box with a lid. You can also go to a craft store and buy a nice wooden box.
2. Choose the colors you want on your box. Red and white are perfect for Valentine's Day, red and green for Christmas, etc. It's your box. Be as creative or crazy as you want.
3. Cut your paper and arrange it however you want. It doesn't have to be a solid color. You can let all small pieces or shapes overlap each other. Just make sure you don't see any cardboard anymore.
4. Tape it. Craft glue works best. You can apply it with a brush if you want. Don't forget to let it dry properly before continuing!
5. Add letters to your box. You can decorate the box with newspaper clippings or write down a sweet message.
6. Varnish your box if you want it to last. If you use a wooden box, this is definitely recommended. It gets a nice shine from it. You can buy varnish in craft stores. Smearing watery glue over the box works just as well as varnish.
7. Ready.

Tips

• Sprinkle some glitter on top!
• When choosing your paper, make sure it is neither too thick nor too thin. Otherwise it will not be beautiful.
• Use the colors of your school when making a box for your favorite teacher or teacher.
• Take different, bright colors.
