Regular T-shirts can be boring and unflattering, especially if they are too big. Fortunately, there are many ways to pimp up your old T-shirts to create a sharper, feminine appearance. Read on to learn how!

To step

Method 1 of 2: Method one: Racerback shirt

  1. Lay your T-shirt flat on a table. Use scissors to cut around the collar of the neck, creating a rounded boat neck.
  2. Ready! Enjoy your new racerback.

Method 2 of 2: Method two: Shirt hanging off the shoulder

  1. Measure your neck. Hold a tape measure at the base of your neck, measure from that point to about ten inches below your shoulder on the other side.
    • Round down 1 or 2 centimeters, then divide the number in half.
  2. Lay the T-shirt flat on your work surface. Measure from the shoulder of your shirt (approximately 5 cm from the hem) to the center of the front of the shirt. Mark the point where your measurement (divided by two) is aligned with the original mark you made in the center of the collar. Mark just above the tape measure at that point and at the starting point (0).
  3. Remove the collars. Cut the cuffs on both sleeves and the bottom of the T-shirt.
  4. Ready! Enjoy your new hanging shirt !.

Tips

  • If possible, practice on a T-shirt that you don't mind throwing away first.
  • Make the neckline of the top as high or low as you want. You could adjust the T-shirt first and make marks to determine where to cut.
