This wikiHow teaches you how to convert a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation into a video that can be viewed on Windows, on a Mac, or on a mobile device.

To step

1. Open the PowerPoint file. Double-click the PowerPoint file you want to convert to a video, or open PowerPoint and click File and Open to select the existing document.
2. click on File and select "Save and Send" or Export. You can find this in the menu on the side.
3. click on Make a video . This is the third option from the top of the menu Export or File types.
   • Skip this step if you are using a Mac version of PowerPoint.
4. Select a video quality and click Make video. Click the drop-down menu on the right and select a video quality (such as Presentation, Internet, or Low). When you are ready to export the video, click the button Make video at the bottom of the window.
   • Skip this step if you are using a Mac version of PowerPoint.
5. Select a location to save the video. Do this in the window above by opening the folder where you want the video file to be saved.
6. Select a file format.
   • In Windows, select Save as type and then one of the following:
     • MPEG-4 (Recommended)
     • WMV
   • On a Mac, select File type and then one of the following:
     • MP4 (Recommended)
     • MOV
7. click on Save. The PowerPoint presentation is saved as a video file in the format and location as you specified.
   • On a Mac, click Export
