Method 1 of 2: Determine the area of a room
Determining the area of a room missing a corner. Measure the greatest length and width of the room as if it were a full rectangle. Then find the area of the missing part and subtract it from the area of the rectangle calculated earlier to get the actual area of the room. This saves a lot of time.
Tips
- If you are dealing with an irregular space, divide it into pieces and add the areas of these separate pieces together.
