Method 1 of 2: Increase the download limit

1. Open the uTorrent app. The app has a green icon with a white "u" in it. You can usually find the app on the home screen or in the app drawer.
2. Tap the tab ☰. This is in the top left corner when you open uTorrent, and opens a drop-down menu with more options.
3. Select Settings in the menu.
4. Tap on Download limit. This allows you to adjust the download speed for uTorrent.
5. Slide the download limit to the desired speed. If you want to use the full download speed available, toggle it to the right so that it says "Max KB / s".
6. Tap on Set up when you're done. This sets the new download speed as the limit for uTorrent when you download a torrent stream on your Android.

Method 2 of 2: Change the incoming port

1. Open the uTorrent app. The app has a green icon with a white "u" in it that can be accessed from the apps drawer.
   • If you are experiencing slow downloads, changing the incoming port to a less common port can increase the speed.
2. Tap the tab ☰. It's in the top left corner when you open uTorrent, and it opens a drop-down menu with more options.
3. Select Settings in the menu.
4. Scroll down and tap Incoming port. This displays the port that allows Utorrent to access download information and is usually set to 6881 by default.
5. Increase the incoming port by 1. Once you hit the option Incoming port a pop-up window will appear with the port number, where you can rewrite the port number to 6882.
6. Tap on OK. This will reconfigure the incoming port for uTorrent and should increase the download speed.
   • If you don't notice a difference in download speed after increasing by 1, try increasing it again (to 6883) to see if that fixes the problem.
