WhatsApp is a nice app, and it is also easy to customize. Are you done with that standard beige background in all your conversations? Then change your wallpaper in the settings by tapping "Chats" and then "Wallpaper".

Method 1 of 2: On an Android

1. Open WhatsApp.
2. Tap ⋮.
3. Tap Settings.
4. Tap Chats.
5. Tap Wallpaper.
6. Tap one of these options:
   • Gallery (your images)
   • Solid color (from WhatsApp)
   • Wallpapers (from WhatsApp)
7. Tap a new wallpaper.
8. Tap Set. You have now set your new wallpaper!

Method 2 of 2: On an iPhone

1. Open WhatsApp.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Chats.
4. Tap Wallpaper.
5. Tap one of these options:
   • Wallpapers (from WhatsApp)
   • Solid colors (from WhatsApp)
   • Photos (taken by yourself)
6. Tap a new wallpaper.
7. Tap Set. You have now set your new wallpaper!
8. Tap Wallpaper. This option is in the top left corner of your screen. This will take you back to the "Background" menu.
   • To reset your wallpaper to the default wallpaper, tap the "Reset Wallpaper" button, under "Wallpaper".
