1 Buy gum. You can buy gum at any store or stall. Although some types of gum can be used to inflate bubbles, you are unlikely to be able to inflate a huge bubble. Typically, these bubbles burst quickly. Give preference to Double Bubble or Bazooka chewing gum. If there is a large bubble painted on the wrapper of the gum, you can safely buy such a gum. This is what you need.
  • Other gum is more sticky and will be very difficult to remove from your face after the bubble bursts. However, if you chew the gum for longer before inflating the bubble, it will no longer be as sticky.
  • Chewing gums with less sugar are the best options for blowing bubbles. The gum's long molecules explain its elasticity. The more there are, the better the bubble you get.
  • Do not use old gum. If the gum is not fresh, it will be dry and hard. You are unlikely to be able to inflate a bubble. Only use fresh gum if you want to inflate a large bubble.
  • 2 Take one plate or pad. If you put several records in your mouth, this does not mean at all that you will be able to inflate a huge bubble. At this point, you'll just learn how to blow bubbles, so you don't have to stuff too much gum into your mouth. Remove the wrapper and place the gum in your mouth.
  • 3 Chew the gum until soft and smooth. Continue this until the taste and sugar crystals dissolve and the gum is very pliable (soft and elastic). This may take a few minutes, so please be patient.
    • Don't wait too long. After a while, perhaps half an hour later, the gum will start to deteriorate. It will become harder and more fragile, and it will no longer be possible to inflate a bubble from it.
  • Method 2 of 2: Inflate the bubble

    1. 1 Roll the gum with your tongue into a ball. Use the center of your tongue to hold the gum in place while you shape it. You don't need to achieve a perfectly rounded shape, you should end up with a small, shaped ball.
      • Place the resulting ball behind the front teeth. Use your tongue to flatten the ball into a small flat circle. Use the back of your teeth to flatten the circle.
    2. 2 Slowly and gently press the tip of your tongue into the middle of the circle, as if pulling the gum over your tongue. Open your lips slightly, continue pushing with your tongue until it is completely covered with a thin layer of gum. You need to be very careful, any careless movement can tear the gum; if this happens, just roll the ball and start over from the beginning. This step can be the hardest, so practice, practice, and practice!
      • Practice in front of a mirror. This will allow you to see if you have positioned the gum correctly.
    3. 3 When the tip of your tongue is coated with a thin layer of gum, fill it with air, forming a bubble. Blow gently. You should feel the air fill the gum and begin to push it out of your mouth, forming a bubble.
      • Many people make the mistake of trying to inflate a balloon with their lips instead of using the air supply from their lungs; regular breathing is not enough to inflate a good bubble, so try to blow as hard as possible. Exhale deeply as you try to inflate the bubble. Use diaphragmatic breathing while inflating the bubble.
    4. 4 Pull your tongue out of the gum layer. Once a bubble begins to form in your mouth, you can pull your tongue out.Use your teeth to hold the gum in the position it was in. Exhale slowly while inflating the bubble.
      • Keep your mouth open. Do not close your lips when you have removed your tongue. Parted lips will make it easier to inflate the bubble.
    5. 5 Continue blowing for as long as possible or until the bubble bursts. Your breathing should be slow and steady. This will allow you to inflate the bubble. See which bubble you managed to inflate before it bursts.
      • Try to inflate the largest bubble. It's best to practice indoors so that you don't get in the way of wind or sunlight. Cold air and wind can prevent you from inflating the bubble, as it will burst quickly, while too hot air will make the gum too soft and sticky.
    6. 6 Fix the resulting bubble. Close your lips slightly to close the bubble. Thanks to such actions, air will no longer get into the bubble and it will not burst from excessive air.
      • If you don't want the bubble to burst and leave marks on your face, you can suck it back into your mouth and burst with your tongue.
    7. 7 Practice, practice and practice again. The first few times you might not succeed, but there is some fun in it. Keep trying until you succeed at least once and you have a feel for what to do and how to do it. You need time to figure out how to position the gum and how to properly inflate the bubble. With practice, you will strengthen your muscles and be able to inflate the bubble without too much difficulty.

    Tips

    • Moisten your lips with water before inflating the bubble. This prevents the gum from sticking to the lips when it bursts.

    Warnings

    • Do not swallow gum. Many chewing gums are based on wax, rubber and plastic. So don't swallow the gum, but spit it out when you're done.
