There is hardly anything more delightful than shouting the word BINGO! Learn how to play this game of chance by taking the following steps. Here we explain the rules for different types of bingo: American Bingo, British / Australian Bingo and Online Bingo.

Method 1 of 3: Prepare for Bingo

1. Make sure you understand the purpose of Bingo. Bingo cards look different in different countries. For example, US maps are different from UK and Australian maps.
   • If you play American Bingo: The goal is to stamp five numbers in a row. Above each row are also the letters of the word BINGO and it is the intention that both the letter and the number of the ball that is drawn on your card. If that is the case, you can stamp a number.
   • If you play British or American Bingo: The goal is to stamp one, two or all three rows on your card. Each card has only 27 numbers in total, which are divided into 3 rows of 9 numbers. The game is played with 90 balls and the amount of money or prizes you win depends on the number of horizontal rows you can stamp. The bingo cards are sold in booklets or flyers and each booklet has 10 bingo cards. Each card has its own color.
2. If you play Bingo at home, appoint someone to draw the numbers. If you play Bingo in an arcade, an employee of the hall is usually the trigger. This person draws the balls and reads for which number and which letter is on the drawn ball.
3. Hand out the bingo cards and fishes. Each player receives at least one card, but it is also possible to play with several cards at the same time. While this makes the game a bit trickier to keep up with, you have a better chance of winning. It is not necessary to give each player the same number of chips as there is no chip limit.
4. Mark it Free box. You may stamp one square on your card before the game starts. This is often a box in a fixed place. In America, for example, this is the middle box on the map.
5. If you play Bingo at home, place the balls in a container or a spinner. You can buy these in the toy store. However, a bucket or plastic bag works just as efficiently. The person pulling the balls should do this without looking inside the bin or bag.

Method 2 of 3: Play Bingo at Home or in a Hall

1. The trigger selects a ball. He does this by grabbing a random ball without looking. He then reads out the number and letter on the ball. This can be, for example, N7 or 32.
2. If you are playing with chips, place a chip on the number that is being read. If you play with paper cards that cannot be reused, you can also stamp or scratch the number. Pay close attention to cover the correct numbers. If you make a mistake, you can write the prize money on your stomach.
3. Scream Bingo! if you have covered a full row of numbers. Do this loud enough for the trigger to hear you immediately. Also make sure to speak up on time. If the trigger already has the next ball in his hand, it is too late to claim your prize.
4. Read out the numbers on the row you covered. This way the tractor can check whether you have made any mistakes and whether you have really won.
   • You do not have to stop as soon as one person has won, but you can also continue for a second or third place.

Method 3 of 3: Play Online Bingo

1. Create a username on a Bingo website. Enter an active email address so that you can easily retrieve any prizes.
   • Most online Bingo games are free, but sometimes you will have to pay before you can participate.
2. Make sure you understand the online game. On the website you will see your Bingo card and you will also see the numbers that have already been called, a list of players and a chat room where players can talk to each other.
   • To chat during the game, simply type your message in the chat box and press enter.
3. Pay attention to the pattern you need to win. Some online Bingo games are played in the traditional ways outlined above. However, some sites choose different patterns that players must cover in order to win. Often times the pattern is displayed in the top left corner of the site.
4. Play Bingo. All players are dealt three cards. The numbers are automatically announced. It is your job to stamp the broadcast numbers on your card by clicking the boxes.
5. Once you have completed the pattern shown at the top left, click the Bingo button.

Tips

• Make sure you don't have to keep an eye on too many Bingo cards; then you quickly make mistakes.
• Do not play in overcrowded Bingo halls. After all, the more people participate in the game, the less likely you are to win. It is often not that busy on Monday to Thursday. More players will participate in the weekend.
