To step

Method 1 of 4: Baking bread in the microwave

  1. Prepare a bowl of yeast. Place 1 ½ teaspoons of dry active yeast, ½ cup of warm water and 2 cups of warm milk in a bowl. Stir thoroughly and set the bowl aside.
  2. Prepare flour mixture in a separate large bowl. Place 3 cups of flour, 1 tablespoon of sugar and 2 teaspoons of salt in the bowl. Use a spoon to thoroughly combine the flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Pour the flour mixture into the bowl with the yeast. Stir the yeast and flour mixture well with a spoon. Stop stirring once the dough has formed and become smooth.
  4. Cover the bowl of dough with a damp towel and let it rise. Place the bowl of dough in a warm place so that it rises faster. Check the dough after an hour. When it has doubled, it is done rising. If not, let it rise for another 15 minutes.
  5. Work baking soda and warm water into the dough. Dissolve ¼ teaspoon of baking soda in ¼ teaspoon of warm water in a glass. Once the baking soda has dissolved, add the baking soda and water to the dough. Work this into the dough using a spoon.
  6. Separate the dough into two greased microwave-safe glass dishes and let it rise. Cover the pans with a damp towel and put them in a warm place. Check after 45 minutes to see if the dough has doubled in size. If this is the case, the rising is ready.
  7. Place each bowl separately in the microwave on high for six minutes. Remove the damp cloth from the dishes before putting them in the microwave. After three minutes, open the microwave and turn the pan with dough. Microwave the dough for another three minutes.
  8. Remove the bread from the microwave and let it cool. After the bread has cooled, remove it from the bowl. Cut it into sandwiches to eat.

Method 2 of 4: Bake cake in the microwave

  1. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add 3 ¼ cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, ½ teaspoon of baking soda and ½ teaspoon of salt to the bowl. Stir the dry ingredients thoroughly with a spoon.
  2. Melt 250 grams of butter in the microwave. Place the butter in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 30 seconds. If the butter has not melted after 30 seconds, microwave the butter for an additional 15 seconds, or until it is melted.
  3. Stir the liquid ingredients together in a separate large bowl. Place 2 eggs, 2 cups of buttermilk and 1 tablespoon of vanilla in the bowl. Beat until the eggs, buttermilk and vanilla are thoroughly mixed.
  4. Add the buttermilk mixture and melted butter to the dry ingredients. Stir everything together with a spoon until the batter is smooth. If there are lumps in the batter, crush them with the spoon.
  5. Pour the cake batter into a silicone, microwave-safe cake pan. If you are making a multi-layer cake, divide the batter into two or more silicone cake tins. Just make sure you only put one layer in the microwave at a time. You do not have to grease the pan, the cake will not stick to the silicone baking pan.
    • You can find a silicone, microwave-safe cake pan online or at the baking section of the supermarket.
  6. Place the tin in the microwave and bake the cake on high for two minutes and 30 seconds. After two minutes and 30 seconds, check if the cake is ready. If any liquid batter can still be seen on the surface of the cake, microwave it for another minute, or until it looks dry and fluffy.
  7. Let the cake cool completely before adding the frosting. It may take more than an hour for the cake to cool completely. Do not glaze the cake when it is warm or the glaze may melt off. After you glaze the cake, cut it into slices.

Method 3 of 4: Bake pizza in the microwave

  1. Prepare a bowl of instant yeast. Mix ½ cup of warm water and one teaspoon of sugar in a small bowl. Once the sugar has dissolved, add 1 teaspoon of instant yeast to the bowl. Stir the yeast and sugar water well together. Set the bowl aside for 10 minutes to rest.
  2. Mix 1 cup of flour and 1 teaspoon of salt in a large bowl. Stir the salt and flour well with a spoon. Then make a hole in the center of the bowl using the spoon.
  3. Pour the bowl with the yeast into the center of the flour mixture. Stir the yeast into the flour mixture with a spoon or with your hands. Keep stirring until the dough starts to form. If the dough is too dry, add more water.
  4. Add two tablespoons of cooking oil to the dough and knead for five minutes. To knead the dough, roll the dough back and forth in the bowl by hand. When done, the dough should be a smooth ball.
  5. Cover the bowl of dough with a damp cloth and let it rise for an hour. Check the dough after an hour. When it has doubled, it is done rising. If not, put the damp cloth over it again and let it rise for a while.
    • Place the bowl of dough in a warm place to help it rise faster.
  6. Separate the dough into two pieces and roll them out with a rolling pin. Sprinkle a little flour over the dough to help it roll out. Move the rolling pin back and forth so that the dough becomes flat and round. Keep rolling until the dough is about 10 cm in diameter. This will be the crust of your pizza.
  7. Poke small holes in the dough with the help of a fork. Poke holes about every inch in the surface of it with the fork. The holes will allow air to circulate through the dough so that it doesn't form bubbles in the microwave.
  8. Add your favorite topping to the pizza dough. Start with pizza sauce and cheese. Then add your topping of your choice. You can add chopped vegetables such as onions, peppers and mushrooms. If you want meat on your pizza, make sure it is cooked through and through.
  9. Place the pizza on a microwave-safe oven rack and microwave it for four minutes. Check your pizza after four minutes. If the cheese doesn't seem melted, microwave the pizza for another 1-2 minutes.
    • If your microwave doesn't have an oven rack, find a suitable one online or at a shopping center.
  10. Cut the pizza into pieces to eat. Using a spatula, transfer the pizza from the grid to a plate. Use a knife to divide the pizza into equal pieces.

Method 4 of 4: Bake brownies in the microwave

  1. Melt butter and chocolate in the microwave. Place 125 grams of butter and 90 ml of unsweetened chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave the butter and chocolate on a high setting for two minutes. Every 30 seconds, remove the bowl from the microwave to stir the chocolate and butter with a spoon until melted.
  2. Stir two eggs and a cup of sugar in a bowl. Keep beating until the eggs and sugar are well combined. Set the bowl aside.
  3. Prepare flour mixture in a large bowl. Add ½ cup of flour, ½ teaspoon of baking powder, and ½ teaspoon of salt to a large bowl. Mix the flour, baking powder and salt thoroughly with a spoon. Use the spoon to make a hole in the center of the flower mixture.
  4. Pour the chocolate and egg mixes into the center of the flour mixture. Use a spoon to stir the mixtures together. Keep stirring until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased, microwave-safe glass dish. Make sure the pan you are using is small enough to fit in your microwave. Spread the batter evenly in the dish.
    • For an even better tasting brownie, sprinkle chocolate flakes over the batter before baking.
  6. Place the pan in the microwave and cook on high for five minutes. After five minutes, remove the brownies and check if they are done. If there is still liquid on the batter, return it to the microwave for another 1-2 minutes.
  7. Let the brownies cool for three minutes before serving. When the brownies have cooled, cut them into pieces with a knife. Scoop the pieces out of the bowl and serve.
