If your bangs are long, sleek, greasy, or otherwise unsightly, you can consider braiding them. Braided bangs will give you a cute, playful look. You can braid the bangs sideways in one or two rows, or braid backwards in the center of your head. Read the article below to learn how to do this.

Steps

Method 1 of 3: Method One: Single Side Braid

  1. 1 Select the large side section of your hair. Ideally, all of your bangs should be combed to the side.
    • You can comb your bangs to the right or to the left. Right-handers may find it easier to weave bangs combed to the left, while left-handers - to the right. The choice is entirely at your discretion.
    • Use a comb or flat comb to select the desired section of hair. Avoid using brushes as they will not give an even separation.
    • In most cases, the section you have selected should reach the level of the outer corner of the corresponding eyebrow. However, this is only a conditional parameter.
  2. 2 Part your hair. Use a comb or flat-bottomed comb to comb the highlighted bangs forward, separating them completely from the rest of the hair.
    • Consider tying in excess hair with a rubber band. This will keep them out of your way when braiding your bangs. You can loosen your ponytail after you finish braiding.

    • Cinch your bangs 4-5 cm from your forehead when you pull it off. After combing your bangs forward, make sure that the selection line is straight.

  3. 3 Divide your bangs into three sections. All strands should be the same in thickness and length.
    • To do this, you can simply divide the hair with your fingers. In fact, separating hair with your fingers is much easier than using a comb.
    • Try to check, before proceeding further, that each strand is smooth and not tangled.
  4. 4 Complete the first row of the weave. Use the entire hair from the side strands, and only part of the hair from the center strand.
    • Select a section of hair from the center section. The selected section should be about 1/8 of the entire thickness of the central strand and be located close to the weaving site.

    • Blend the right strand onto the reduced center strand, thereby swapping them.

    • Take the left strand and lay it over the new center strand.

    • Draw the initially center strand to the originally left strand so that it is again in the center.

  5. 5 Braid the second full row of the weave, including more bangs. Repeat the weaving procedure to create the second row. Before continuing, grab the next 1/8 of the center strand by joining it to the main section of the center strand that has already been braided into the braid.
    • Pull up loose hair that is directly attached to the center section you are using.

    • Bring the original center strand back to the center. Your braid is already starting to move along your forehead.
  6. 6 Pull up and braid your hair in this way until you reach your ear. Continue to pick up and weave 1/8 of the center strand until you have completely gathered the entire center strand.
    • After the center strand is completely gathered, continue braiding with your regular braid until it is long enough to be pulled behind your ear.
  7. 7 Tie a braid. Use an elastic band to secure the braid.
    • You need to make sure the elastic fits well on the braid. Otherwise, it can slip off and the braid will unravel.

  8. 8 Pin the braid behind your ear. Using the invisibility tool, secure the end of the braid to the colossi behind your ear. Hide this tip behind your ear as well as possible.
    • It will be easier to hide if you let the rest of your hair down and let it hang down your shoulders.

Method 2 of 3: Method Two: Double Side Braid

  1. 1 Highlight the deep side section of your hair. Comb the entire bangs to the side.
    • You can comb your bangs to the right or to the left. Choose the side that is easier for you to work with.
    • Use a comb or flat comb to separate the hair evenly. Avoid using a brush that can tangles your hair.
    • Typically, the highlight line extends to the level of the outer corner of the eyebrow. This is a rough guideline that will give you a general direction.
  2. 2 Comb your bangs forward. Using the same comb or hairbrush, comb the bangs forward.
    • Pin or tie up excess hair to keep it out of the way when braiding.
  3. 3 Divide the bangs in half into two large sections. In this case, you will need to create two even rows of bangs. Divide the bangs in half so that you get the front and back rows.
    • You may need a flat comb to separate hair evenly. If this seems difficult to you, simply divide the bangs with your fingers. Make sure the strands are straight and not tangled before proceeding.
    • The two strands should be parallel to each other. One should lie in front directly at the forehead, and the second behind it.
  4. 4 Divide the large strands into three smaller ones. Each large strand should be divided into three equal sections that will be woven together.
    • Small strands should be equal in thickness and length.
    • It is usually easiest to divide a strand into three sections with your fingers, rather than a comb.
    • If you have difficulty holding all the strands at once, work with one large strand first. Tie the front large strand with an elastic band and divide the back large strand into three strands. After the back strand is braided, untie the front strand, divide it into strands and braid as well.
  5. 5 Braid the back strand with a dragon. Use the same method described above for a single side braid to braid the back of your hair.
    • Take some hair from the center strand and leave the side strands intact. The part of the center strand that you picked up should be located closest to the weave.
    • Blend the right strand over the small center strand.
    • Blend the left strand over the new center strand.
    • Bring the original center strand back to the center to complete the first row of weave.
    • Continue braiding the back of your hair using the same technique. With each new row of weaving, you should pick up new additional strands to the center section.
    • Note that no hair from the front should be braided into the back braid.
    • When the braid is long enough to loop over your ear, tie it with an elastic band.
  6. 6 Braid the front of your hair with a dragon. Braid the front of your hair using the same method as for the back.
    • The two side strands should be used as they are, and only the part closest to the weaving should be taken from the central strand.
    • Blend the right strand over the small center strand.
    • Blend the left strand over the new center strand.
    • Bring the original center strand back to the center.
    • As you weave, gradually incorporate new strands into the center section. Continue until you have collected all the hair in the center section and then pay off with a regular braid to the ear.
    • Tie the braid with an elastic band or bow.
  7. 7 Pin up the braids to hold them in place. Use invisibility for this. Additional invisibility can be used to fix the ends of the braids on the side.
    • Style the rest of your hair to hide the ends of the braids.
  8. 8 Ready.

Method 3 of 3: Method Three: Back Pigtail

  1. 1 Select a large section of hair in the center. A center strand works best for this hairstyle. Use a comb or comb to separate the hair on your head into two sections, top center and bottom.
    • If you select the strand from the side rather than the center, it can be difficult to divide the bangs into equal sections.
    • If done correctly, such a braid will capture all the hair in the center. However, not all side hairs can get into it, so you get a somewhat disheveled result.
    • Use a comb or flat hairbrush to precisely separate hair. Fingers may not cope with the task of evenly highlighting the strand. You should also avoid using brushes that can tangle your hair.
  2. 2 Comb your bangs forward. Use the same comb or flat-bottomed comb to comb the bangs forward so that they cover your forehead and eyes.
    • You can pin back the rest of your hair to keep it out of the way, but avoid tying it permanently as this may require additional braids when braiding.
  3. 3 Divide part of the selected bangs into three equal strands. Divide the center of the bangs into thirds, leaving about 5 cm of loose hair on the sides.
    • When weaving a regular French dragon, you will gradually incorporate the hair you left into a braid. But first they should be left free.
    • Use your fingers to separate the bangs into strands. Each strand should be even and the same thickness and length with the rest.
  4. 4 Using these strands, weave a row of regular braids. You need to complete one complete row of weaving from these three strands.
    • Blend the right strand over the center strand. Now she will be in the middle.
    • Blend the left strand over the new center strand that used to be the right strand. Now there will be a left strand in the middle.
    • Center the original center strand that is now on the right again, overlaying it over the new center strand that was previously left. Now, the initially central part should be in the center again.
  5. 5 Hook up the extra bangs hair on the right. Gently work part of the loose hair of the bangs on the right into the right section of the braid.
    • Blend the enlarged right strand over the center strand. It should now be in the middle, forming half a row.
  6. 6 Pick up the extra bangs on the left. Carefully insert a portion of the loose hair of the bangs on the left into the left section of the braid.Complete the row.
    • Blend the enlarged left strand over the center strand that was previously right.
    • Center the left strand. This will complete the row.
  7. 7 Continue braiding in the same way. Alternate the selection of the right and left strands, weaving them into a braid until you have nothing more to pick up at all or from one side.
    • Remember to pull on loose bangs as you braid. By the time you finish the braid, all the hair in the bangs should be tucked into it.
  8. 8 Tie or pin up the braid. Use a small hair tie to tie the end of the braid, keeping it from unraveling.
    • Pin the free end of the braid with invisible braids. If possible, style the rest of your hair to hide the invisibility.

Tips

  • Before you start braiding, you need to make sure that the hair is well combed and not tangled anywhere.
  • Before weaving bangs, make sure your hair is prepared to work with it. Pre-treat unruly bangs with mousse or smoothing serum. Otherwise, there is a risk of getting a tousled braid.
