PowerPoint is a slideshow format created by Microsoft, which has established a dominant position in the market.To burn PowerPoint to DVD, follow the provided step-by-step instructions.

Steps

1. 1 Insert a blank DVD disc.
2. 2 Make sure your recorder supports DVD format. If your computer does not automatically detect the insertion of the disc, then go to the section "My Computer" (My Computer) and check that the drive outputs "DVD-R" or "DVD-RW".
3. 3 Set the "My Computer" window to half the size. To do this, click on the Restore Down icon in the upper right corner between the Minimize and Close buttons.
4. 4 Click on the PowerPoint file and drag it to the DVD. You can also copy and paste it to disc.
5. 5 Prepare a disk for formatting if prompted.
   • Please enter a name.
   • Change the formatting options as desired.
6. 6 If necessary, wait while the disk is formatted.
7. 7 Wait for the file to be copied.
8. 8 Wait for a new window to appear, which will indicate the presence of the copied file. Note that it has not yet been burned to disc; this is why the file record may appear semi-transparent.
9. 9 Click on the Burn to Disc button or equivalent. A similar button should be on the toolbar. If it is not there, right-click on the file or on the DVD itself and look for it among the options that appear.
10. 10 Prepare a disc for recording on demand. Choose a name and, if possible, write speed. (The higher the number, the faster.)
11. 11 Wait for the disc to burn. After completing the process, it should be removed automatically.

• Depending on where you want to show PowerPoint, you probably want to choose a presentation mode like kiosk mode.

Warnings

• Make sure PowerPoint is installed on the device through which you intend to read your disc and you will be able to run the file.
