In this article, you'll learn how to pin a post to the top of your Facebook page so visitors can see it above other posts. This function is only available for publications on public pages in Facebook.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: On iPhone / Android

1. 1 Launch the Facebook app. Its icon looks like a white F on a blue background.
   • If you need to sign in, enter your username and password, then click entrance.
2. 2 Click the search bar. It's at the top of the screen.
3. 3 Enter the name of your Facebook page. As you enter characters, a list of possible results will be displayed immediately.
4. 4 Click on the desired page. Your Facebook page will open on the screen below.
5. 5 Scroll down and click the ▼ icon in the post. It's in the upper right corner of the post field. A drop-down menu will appear on the screen.
6. 6 Click Attach at the top. When the page is reloaded, the publication will be placed on top of all other publications at the top of the page.
   • Go to post on your Facebook page and click the icon ▼and then paragraph Remove from aboveto unpin the post.

Method 2 of 2: On a PC

1. 1 Go to Facebook.
   • If you need to sign in, enter your username and password, then click entrance.
2. 2 Click ▼. The button is located in the upper right corner of the page. A drop-down menu will appear below the button.
3. 3 Click on your Facebook page. A list of your Facebook pages will appear at the top of the drop-down menu under “Your Pages”. After that, the required page will be loaded in the browser.
4. 4 Scroll down and click the ▼ icon in the post. It's in the upper right corner of the post field. A drop-down menu will appear on the screen.
5. 5 Click Attach at the top of the Page. When the page is reloaded, the publication will be placed on top of all other publications at the top of the page.
   • Go to post on your Facebook page and click the icon ▼and then paragraph Unpin at the top of the Pageto unpin the post.
