This article will show you how to enable Find iPhone on your smartphone to track it if it is lost or stolen.

Steps

1. 1 On your smartphone, open the Settings app. The icon for this application looks like a gray gear and is usually located on the home screen.
   • Also, the application icon may be located in the Utilities folder on the home screen.
2. 2 Scroll down and tap iCloud. This option is located in the fourth section.
3. 3 Sign in to your iCloud account (if needed). If you are already logged in, skip this step.
   • Enter your email address.
   • Enter password.
   • Click Sign In.
   • If you don't have an iCloud account, click Create Apple ID to create an iCloud account for free.
4. 4 Scroll down and click Find iPhone.
5. 5 Slide the switch next to Find My iPhone to the On position. Now this function will send data about the location of the device to Apple, with which you can find the smartphone.
   • If geolocation services are disabled, you need to activate them (your smartphone will notify you about this), because geolocation is necessary for Find iPhone to work properly. Click on the displayed Settings button to go to the geolocation services page; now slide the toggle next to Location Services to the On position.
