3. 3 Create a Wooden Pickaxe using Planks and Sticks. With its help, you can get a cobblestone, from which you need to craft a furnace. Also stock up on coal, which is the main fuel and is widely available. Using coal, wood blocks can be turned into charcoal, which is similar to coal (both coal and charcoal can melt 8 blocks).
4. 4 Collect a lot of cobblestone. The bigger, the better. Most likely, you will build your first home from cobblestone or from cobblestone and wood. This is probably the most common material in Minecraft.

7. 7 Wait out the night. Many monsters appear at night. On your first night, you might be scared because you will most likely only have stone tools. If you want to fight mobs, keep in mind that you need to have the necessary items. For example, leather armor will reduce damage when fighting mobs.
8. 8 Leave the house carefully and check for creepers nearby. Remember that creepers do not burn in daylight like zombies and skeletons, so they can appear not only at night, but also during the day. Creepers are aggressive green mobs that are invisible between trees and tall grass and do not make any sounds, so creepers can easily take you by surprise. If the creeper gets close to you, it will explode, harming or killing you, and destroying nearby blocks.
9. 9 Find other resources, get a lot of wood and build a farm (if you like). Do this if you successfully survive the first few in-game days. Of course, you may encounter a mob boss.
10. 10 Improve tools and armor. Do this constantly, otherwise you won't be able to stay in the game for a long time.

Tips
