If you've watched Skins, you know Effie Stonem, the rebel girl that all guys go crazy for. And although her character is partly to blame, the main role is still played by a sexy and mysterious appearance. Read on to find out how to adopt Effie's look.

Steps

1. 1 Tidy up your hair. Effie has medium-length brown hair. She usually wears them loose or in the form of messy curls, but sometimes straightens them. If you prefer the second option, use a hair straightener, or if you want a classic Effie look, apply mousse, distribute it over the entire length of your hair and shake it to create natural curls and volume. Either way, Effie's hair is silky and shiny, so use the right shampoo, conditioner and moisturizing masks. You can pin the bangs up if you like. Your hair should always look voluminous and natural.
2. 2 Put on your makeup. Effie has three main types of makeup. Natural, darker and brighter in a smoky eye style.
   • Natural. Apply a makeup foundation that matches your skin color. Apply a light pink blush to cheeks and cheekbones. Apply black mascara to the eyelashes on the upper eyelid. Apply some white eyeshadow on the upper eyelid and on the lower eyelid just below the lashes.
   • Dark. Line up the lower eyelid with a black pencil. Apply a gray eye shadow on the upper eyelid from the center to the outer corner of the eyes. Apply black eyeshadow to the very end of the outer corner and blend in from gray to black. Apply a little pink blush to your cheeks and pink lipstick or gloss to your lips.
   • Smoky Eyes. Line up the upper eyelid and lower eyelid with a black pencil, connecting the lines at the corners of the eyes. Apply black eyeshadow to the upper lid, reducing the saturation up towards the brow. Apply some black eyeshadow on the lower lid, below the lined line, and blend it. Apply black mascara to upper and lower eyelashes. Leave your lips unpainted or apply a sheer gloss.
3. 3 If desired / possible, take up the figure. Effie is very skinny. Keep in mind that the actress who plays her is actually a model. If you are already skinny, great. If you want to lose weight, exercise and eat healthy foods. But it's better to accept your body as it is and not exhaust it. Lead an active lifestyle, take care of your health, and you will look as sexy as Effie.
4. 4 Be confident in yourself. In fact, self-confidence has nothing to do with looks, but if you are confident and feel beautiful, it will help a lot.Walk with a straight back, smile, be proud of yourself, know that you look good and your attractiveness level will increase by itself.
5. 5 Stay mysterious. Do not talk over trifles to make your words more meaningful. Almost every phrase of Effie has a subtext with a deep meaning.
   • Do not forget that Effie has psychological problems that are the reason for her eccentric behavior. Her depression is best revealed at the end of the story, but know that overall she is unhealthy from the beginning. She doesn’t care about anything and doesn’t give her an emotional response. If you know how to take your mind off your problems and say "fuck it to hell," you can be the perfect Effie. You don't care about anything, you live for pleasure.
6. 6 Dress like Effie. Effie has a very defiant image that is closest to grunge, gothic and rock styles. She wears clothes in dark colors, very short dresses, T-shirts with witty lettering and miniskirts. Follow her style on the show. Anything short, gray, black and alternative style will do. However, her wardrobe is getting more diversified in Season 4, so feel free to add a little color if you don't want to look too dark. Effie almost never wears dresses and skirts below the knee. She loves loose tops, shirts and dresses, ripped jeans and leggings, leather jackets and oversized sweaters.
   • Jewelry is important. Bulky beads, long pendants, bracelets, earrings - whatever! Socks, belts and bags add to the look too, just go shopping and pick something that works. In dark colors, indie or alternative styles and bold prints.

Warnings

• Be yourself! You can look as sexy as Effie, but still be yourself. For example, if you are emotional and talkative, do not try to become cold and detached in order to adopt Effie's "mystery." In fact, she is not a very pleasant person, and it is unlikely that such a change will please your environment.
• Again, if you're blonde, don't wear brown hair just because of Effie. If you have dark skin, do not bleach it. Work with what you have.
• Never smoke, drink, or take drugs to become more like Effie. Don't forget that she's just a character on the show.
• If you are ALREADY doing all this - the main thing, do not overdo it. Have fun, but watch your health.
