1 Care won't hurt. Treat your guitar the way you do with store-bought items or other valuable possessions. Never place it on the floor when you are not playing or about to do anything with it. The best place for your guitar is inside a specially equipped case or some other place where nothing threatens it. You can put it in a hard case, concert case, hang it on a special bracket or put it on a stand.

• If you have an electric guitar, loosen the strings slightly to remove dust that collects around the pickups.
• If you have an acoustic guitar, loosen the strings and remove the dust near the nut.
  • There is no need to weaken them beyond measure, just so that a napkin crawls under them.
  • Check all fittings and tighten loose screws.

Method 1 of 2: Changing strings

On most electric guitars, they are fairly simple in design and allow you to remove the strings without additional tools if you do not have a Floyd Rose system. 2. 2 If you are a skilled artist, you can try decorating your guitar with a pattern or special stickers. But don't paint your acoustic guitar in order not to degrade the sound quality. Do not try to reshape the guitar (be it body, neck, or headstock) as this will affect the sound of the instrument.

Tips

• The strap and straps must be securely attached to the guitar so that the instrument does not fall over while playing and does not get damaged.
• Avoid abrasive action on the tool, as well as abnormal temperatures and moisture. Store your guitar at 20 degrees Celsius and 40% humidity.
• If you are standing up and moving while playing, then try to provide some extra cable and hang it through the strap.
