Dried PVA glue becomes hard, and if you pull it, you can even stretch or tear the fabric. Here's what to do to get rid of the glue easily.

Steps

  1. 1 Boil a kettle of water.
  2. 2 Put on rubber gloves. This is to protect your hands from steam.
  3. 3 Find the dried spot of PVA glue. Lay it on a flat surface so that it stays in place.
  4. 4 When the kettle is boiling, hold the spot over the steam so that the steam goes directly to the spot. Be careful and protect your skin.
  5. 5 Hold until the glue softens and turns into a wet gel-like mass.
  6. 6 Remove from the steam and gently peel off the glue with your fingers. You should be able to remove it very easily.
  7. 7 Repeat as necessary. If the stain is large, you may need to remove the glue in sections.

Warnings

  • Be very careful when handling steam. This can only be done with protective gloves and adults.
