In this article, we are going to show you how to uninstall an app from iPhone. This can be done from the home screen or the App Store app.

Method 1 of 2: From the home screen

1. 1 Find the icon for the app you want to uninstall. Look for an icon on the home screen or in a folder.
   • To quickly find an app you want, swipe right on the Home screen, enter the app name in the search bar (at the top of the screen), and then tap the app in the search results.
   • To scroll through the iPhone home screens, swipe left.
2. 2 Press and hold the icon for one second. Don't press too hard - tap the screen, wait for the menu to appear, and then remove your finger from the screen.
   • If you have an iPhone 6S or newer, tapping the screen can open the 3D Touch menu. If you see a menu under the app icon with the Share [app name] option (and other options), you pressed the icon too hard.
   • If your iOS version is lower than 13.2, the menu will not open - the icons will start to shake.
3. 3 Please select Delete application on the menu. A window will open.
   • If the icon starts to shake when you tap and hold it, press the "X" at the top of the icon to uninstall the app.
   • Some applications, such as the App Store, cannot be uninstalled.
4. 4 Click on Delete in the window. This will confirm your actions and the application will be uninstalled.

Method 2 of 2: On the App Store

1. 1 Open the App Store . Tap the white A on a blue background. You'll find this icon on your home screen - if not, find it using the search bar.
2. 2 Click on your profile icon. It is located in the upper right corner of the App Store. If you have not set a profile picture, only your initials will be displayed on the icon.
3. 3 Scroll down to the app you want to uninstall. The installed applications are listed in alphabetical order.
4. 4 Swipe left on the app. A red Delete button appears.
5. 5 Press the red button Delete. A window will open.
6. 6 Click on Delete in the window. This will confirm your actions and the application will be uninstalled.

Tips
