In the Facebook mobile app, you can delete your posts and comments. You can delete someone else's comments to your posts, but you cannot delete someone else's comments to someone else's posts. The process for deleting posts and comments is almost identical on Android devices and iPhones.

Steps

Part 1 of 3: How to Delete a Comment

1. 1 Find the comment you want to delete. You can delete your comments, as well as other people's comments to your publications. You cannot delete someone else's comments to someone else's posts. The process is almost identical on iPhones and Android devices. Find the post and expand the comment section.
   • If you want to delete some of your comments or posts, or if you can't find the comment you want to delete, go to the last section of this article.
2. 2 Press and hold the comment you want to delete. A menu will open on the Android device. On iPhone, release your finger to open the menu.
   • Click on the blank comment space. Clicking on a name will open the commentator's profile.
3. 3 Tap Remove. Now confirm your intentions. The comment will be deleted.

Part 2 of 3: How to delete a post

1. 1 Find the post you want to remove. You can only delete your own post. The process is almost identical on iPhones and Android devices. To quickly find a publication, open your profile; to do this, tap the "☰" icon and then tap your profile.
   • If you want to delete some of your comments or posts, or if you can't find the comment you want to delete, go to the last section of this article.
2. 2 Click the "∨" button in the upper right corner of the post. A menu will open.
3. 3 Click Remove. Now confirm your intentions. The publication and all comments to it will be deleted.

Part 3 of 3: How to Delete Multiple Comments and Posts

1. 1 Open the activity log. With its help, you can delete several of your publications. The Activity Log is the fastest way to find your posts and comments. This process depends on whether you are using an Android or iPhone device:
   • Android - Click the "☰" icon in the upper right corner of the Facebook app, scroll down the page and tap "Activity Log";
   • iPhone - Click the ☰ icon in the lower-right corner of the Facebook app, scroll down and click Settings, then select Action Log from the menu.
2. 2 Find the post or comment you want to remove. Only your posts and comments will be displayed; you will not see other people's comments to your publications.
3. 3 Click the "∨" button next to the post or comment you want to delete. A menu will open.
4. 4 Tap Delete to remove the post or comment. Now confirm your actions. The post or comment will be deleted.
