It's easier than you think to select pictures from the iPad Photos app and organize them into an album for easy access. You can quickly select images from your iPad photo library, as well as pictures taken with your iPad camera (if you're using iPad 2 or later) and name an album in seconds using this simple technique.

Steps

  1. 1 Tap the Photos icon on the iPad home screen to launch the Photos app.
  2. 2 Select the Albums tab at the top of the interface. Now click the Change button.
  3. 3 Click the "New Album" button.
  4. 4 Enter the name of the album in the field that appears. Click the Save button.
  5. 5 To view your photo collection, click Photos or the Photo Stream tab at the top of the interface. Now click on all the photos you want to add to your album, so that a blue circle with a white checkmark appears on each one. Click the Finish button.
  6. 6 The photos are added to the new album and the album appears in the Albums tab.

Tips

  • You can click and drag albums on the albums screen to organize them however you like.
  • Place two fingers on the album and slowly spread them apart to see a preview of the images in the album.
  • You can remove photos from the album by clicking on the Share button (rectangle with an arrow inside) when viewing the album. Just click on the image or images you want to remove and then click the Remove button.

Warnings

  • Removing a picture from an album is not the same as removing it. If you want to delete an image, you need to use the Delete (Trash Can) button when viewing the image in Photos or in the Photo Stream tab.
