Barcodes are used in modern postal operations for a variety of purposes. You can create a barcode in Word.
Steps
- 1 Create a new document and click "Tools".
- 2 From the menu, click on Letters and Mailings.
- 3 In the next menu, select “Envelopes and labels”.
- 4 In the Delivery line, enter the recipient's mailing address. You can also enter the mailing address of the sender. Click Options.
- 5 Check the box next to Delivery barcode. Click OK.
Tips
- Ask in the mail if the barcode you want to add is being used.
Warnings
- Remember to put the envelope in the printer.
