What do you need

1 Prepare your work surface by covering it with a plastic or vinyl backing to avoid clutter while working.

2 Prepare the necessary materials and tools.

Inflate the balloon to the correct size. For a start, a diameter of 5-15 cm is enough. Larger ball sizes will require more thread.
Pour PVA glue into a small, shallow dish. Thin the glue slightly with water. The threads will need to be moistened in this solution.
Cut the strands into 91-121 cm lengths for easier handling and less tangling.

3 Dip the thread into the glue, making sure that the thread does not get tangled. When immersed, the thread can be weighted down with a bolt or other metal object; it should be well saturated with glue.

Use your fingers to remove excess glue from the thread. The thread should be saturated with glue, but no glue should drip from it.

4 Wrap the thread around the ball. You can do it however you want, there are no strict rules here. Wrap the threads around the ball, leaving no gaps more than one finger.

5 Apply some more glue to the ends and intersections of the strands if they do not bond well with other strands.

6 Use multi-colored threads as desired.

7 Continue until you have covered the entire ball with a net of thread. The grill should not have more holes than the tip of your index finger.

Make sure there are no dangling ends and each strand is attached to the other.

8 Add embellishments as desired. For example, sparkles.

9 Hang the balloon to dry it.

Place something under the hanging ball to catch the falling glue drops.

10 When the glue dries and hardens, burst the ball and pull it out of the thread ball.

11 Hang up the finished ball of threads!

Tips

To better saturate the threads, wrap them around a bolt or washer.
From threads, you can wind patterns in the form of a heart, a star or a circle, and so on. Make a pattern of the desired shape from the threads, and wind it with threads to secure.
