Many women, and sometimes some men, choose to accentuate their eye color by using different makeup techniques and specific shades. Green eyes are very beautiful and deserve to be accentuated; sometimes, however, depending on the complexion and the makeup applied, the beauty of green eyes can be difficult to notice. This article provides several ways to highlight the natural beauty of green eyes with makeup.

Steps

Method 1 of 4: Getting the Right Skin Tone

1. 1 Apply foundation. If you need to, pre-apply a concealer on certain facial blemishes. Try to use foundation a tone lighter than your skin tone. Just make sure it's not overly light and visible. Apply foundation all over your face, then apply powder of your skin tone to your face.
2. 2 Apply blush. Use a medium to light red blush, or a hot pink blush. Applying these colors to your cheeks will make your eyes stand out. Apply a thin layer of blush with a thick brush, do not apply too much.

Method 2 of 4: Makeup Naturally Using Gold Eyeshadow

1. 1 Apply a quality eye shadow foundation to your lids. To do this, use a clean finger or a foundation brush.
2. 2 Using the eyeshadow brush, apply medium to dark tan color to the entire lid. Blend one or two layers of shadow evenly.
3. 3 Using the same brush, paint a metallic gold color over the tan.
