What do you need

1 Fold a sheet of black glue foamiran in half. First, remove the backing from the sheet to expose the adhesive side of foamiran. Then fold the sheet across in half with the glue side inward. This will give you a thicker ear blank.

2 Using a white tailor's pencil, draw two circles on the black foamiran. For convenience, attach a suitable round object (for example, a tape reel) to the foamiran and trace around it with a white tailor's pencil. Depending on how big you want your ears to be, the circles can be about the size of an orange or even a grapefruit.

An ordinary white wax pencil is also suitable for work, provided that it leaves noticeable lines on the foamiran.

3 Cut out black circles from foamiran. Use sharp scissors to cut out the circles along the white outline. Then further adjust the perimeter of the slices so that the circles are perfectly even.

4 Use hot glue to glue the black circles to the hairband. Take a glue gun and apply hot glue to the bottom edge of the circles. Use a drop of glue about the size of a coin to secure each circle. Ears should be placed about 5 cm apart.

Use additional glue if necessary.

Part 2 of 4: Making Minnie's Bow

1 First, cut a piece of wide tape 23 cm long. This tape should be about 4 cm wide, as it will form the bow. Measure out a piece of tape with a ruler and cut with scissors.
2 Prepare a second piece of narrow tape 6 cm long. The tape should be narrower and about 1 cm wide. Tapes of any width, color, and pattern can be found at a craft store.
- For a classic Minnie Mouse look, use a red ribbon with white polka dots for a large bow, or just a red ribbon for a smaller bow.
- Also, Minnie's character can wear pink bows with white polka dots and solid pink bows. Choose a color and ribbon pattern for your suit that works best with the rest of your outfit.
3 Roll a piece of wide tape into a ring. Roll a wide ribbon into a ring, overlapping the ends. Glue the ends together with a small drop of hot glue.
- Make sure the front of the tape is facing outward.
4 Pinch the tape rolled up in the middle and secure it in this position with glue. Lay the tape flat on the table first (the glued ends should be in the middle). Grip the tape with your thumb and forefinger in the center of the two edges and gather it between them. Secure the assembled bow from the front side with a small drop of hot glue in the fold formed on the fabric, which gives it the desired shape.
- If desired, before tightening the bow, you can first glue the ring of the tape from the inside in the center with a drop of glue so that the material keeps a flat shape. However, do not glue the entire middle.
5 Place the bow on the front of the ear rim. Wrap a piece of narrow ribbon around the middle of the bow and rim to secure the bow in place. Hot glue one end of the narrow tape on the inside of the rim. Remember to keep the bow centered between the two ears.
6 Secure the bow to the rim with a piece of narrow tape. The narrow tape should secure the bow by wrapping around it and the rim. Attach the other end securely with glue to the inside of the hairband.

Part 3 of 4: Preparing the Outfit

1 Sew red pack or simply fluffy skirtwhich will become the basis of your outfit. Take 1–2 meters of red tulle or a common woven fabric (like cotton or linen) to make a short red skirt.If you don't want to sew a skirt yourself, you can purchase one at a clothing store or online store.
- Ideally, the skirt should be knee-length.
2 Cut 12 or more circles out of white foamiran. Use a round object at hand (such as a glass canning jar) to draw at least 12 identical circles on a sheet of white foamiran. Cut out these circles with scissors. If necessary, adjust the perimeter of their slices to make the circles even.
- If you have no desire to create polka dots on the skirt yourself, initially buy polka dot fabric for the skirt.
3 Fix the circles to the skirt with hot glue, spreading them evenly over the fabric. Spread the skirt out on a flat surface so that all of the fabric is visible. Spread the circles evenly over the fabric to create a polka dot pattern. Sequentially, one by one, secure the circles in their places. To do this, apply hot glue around the perimeter of each successive circle, and then press it against the fabric.
4 Draw three longitudinal lines each on the outside of the white gloves to mimic Minnie Mouse gloves. Take a pair of short white gloves (up to the wrist) and place them on the table in front of you, palms down. Use a permanent marker or fabric marker to draw three longitudinal lines on the gloves to mimic a cartoon character.
5 Buy black leggings and yellow shoes to recreate Minnie's traditional look. Minnie Mouse traditionally wears yellow heels paired with a red dress with white polka dots. Black leggings will help you mimic her dark coat. Try to find closed-toe shoes with moderately high heels. If you don't want to walk in heels, consider flats.

Part 4 of 4: Creating Decorative Makeup

1 Paint your eyes with dark eyeliner paired with light eyeshadow. Brighten up your eyes by applying a thin layer of gray or creamy eyeshadow to the lids. To make your eyes even more expressive, line the upper lash line with black eyeliner. While it is not a bad idea to make the eyes more expressive, it is appropriate to use a small amount of makeup for this costume.
- The eyeliner helps you mimic the look of cartoon eyelashes.
2 Paint your nose with black makeup. Draw yourself a black mouse nose by painting over the tip of the nose with black make-up paint. Don't paint over the bridge of your nose, just the very tip of your nose to get a Minnie-like result.
- You can also use eyeliner or eyebrow pencil to paint over your nose.
3 Finish off with lip gloss to add a little more shine to your lips. Use pink or red lip gloss if you want to make your lips more visible. If you have trouble choosing a color, go for a color that works best with your outfit and bow.
- As with eye makeup, moderation is important here too.
4 Smoothly comb your hair back to show the headband with the ears. Moisten your hair with water to make it easier to work with. Apply a strong hold hair gel or wax to your fingertips and work from top to bottom. Start working from the hairline at the forehead and smoothly comb all the hair back.
- This method is best for those with short hair. If you have long hair, try to smooth it down in sections.
