In this article, you will learn how to unblock Facebook users using a mobile device or computer.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: iPhone and Android devices

1. 1 Open Facebook. Press the dark blue icon with the letter "f" inside to start the program. If you are already signed in to your account, then a news feed will open.
   • If you are not yet signed in to your profile, you will first need to enter your email address (or phone number) and password.
2. 2 Click the button ☰. It's in the lower right (iPhone) or upper right corner of the screen (Android).
3. 3 Scroll through the menu and select Settings. This item is near the end of the list.
   • If you have an Android device, then skip this step.
4. 4 Select item account settings. This item is at the top of the pop-up menu (iPhone) or near the end of the list ☰ (Android).
5. 5 Select item Locks. It's at the bottom of the screen with a red warning circle next to it.
6. 6 Click on Unblock to the right of the username. On this page, you will see a list of all blocked users. Select the person you want to unblock.
7. 7 Click on Unblock to confirm. The blue button is on the left side of the screen. Click to unblock the selected user.
   • If you want to re-block a user, you will have to wait 48 hours after unblocking.

Method 2 of 2: Windows and Mac computers

1. 1 Go to your Facebook page. Go to the site using this link.If you are already logged into your Facebook account, then a news feed will open.
   • If you are not yet logged into your profile, you will first need to enter your email address (or phone number) and password at the top right of the page.
2. 2 Click the button ▼. It's at the top right of the Facebook window.
3. 3 Select item Settings. It's at the bottom of the dropdown menu.
4. 4 Select item Block. This tab is on the left side of the page.
5. 5 Click on Unblock to the right of the username. All blocked users will be listed on the page in the Block Users field.
6. 6 Click on Confirm. The selected user will then be unlocked.
   • If you want to re-block a user, you will have to wait 48 hours after unblocking.

Tips

• Unblock users only if you are sure you need to communicate with them.

Warnings

• It should be remembered that after unlocking, you must wait 48 to block the unwanted user again.
