Hyderabad Vegetable Birini is a vegetable-rich, hearty, aromatic dish that's easy to prepare. The vegetables are boiled until tender, mixed with rice and heated over low heat to combine the flavors. The result is a delicious healthy Indian dish.
Ingredients
- Rice
- Vegetables
- Onion
- Tomatoes
- Carrot
- Potato
- Green pea
- Cauliflower
- Young corn
- Lemon
- Ginger and garlic paste
- Salt
- Water
- Vegetable oil
- Mint leaves (for garnish)
Steps
1 Soak rice in water.
2 Chop and prepare vegetables.
3 Heat oil in a skillet.
4 Add onion and sauté until golden brown.
5 Add the ginger-garlic paste to the onion and sauté.
6 Add tomatoes and sauté. The amount of onion and tomato should be equal.
7 Add prepared vegetables (carrots, potatoes, green peas, cauliflower, baby corn) and simmer for about 15 minutes.
8 Season the stewed vegetables with salt.
9 Prepare the steamed rice so that it is crumbly.
10 Take another skillet and brush the surface with vegetable oil.
11 Place the next layer of rice.
12 Lay a layer of stewed vegetables on top.
13 Place the next layer of rice.
14 Cook everything over very low heat for 5-10 minutes.
15 Appetizing hyderabad vegetable biryani is ready! Serve hot with wright.
