Magnetic eyelashes attach more easily than glue-on false eyelashes. They consist of upper and lower halves with small magnets. All that is needed is to clamp the native eyelashes between the two halves of the magnetic eyelashes, and the magnets will be attracted to each other. You can also wear magnetic eyelashes with makeup, but for eye makeup you should only use products that will not damage the false eyelashes.

Steps

Part 1 of 3: Apply Your Normal Makeup

1. 1 Apply all other makeup first. This is especially important if you have never used magnetic false eyelashes before, as the first time you will probably wear them less gracefully and skillfully. Apply all your makeup first and only then attach the magnetic lashes. Otherwise, you can smear unfinished makeup with false eyelashes.
2. 2 Apply mascara to your own eyelashes in the inner corners of the eye. Magnetic false eyelashes are applied only to the outer corners of the eyes. Apply mascara to the inner corners of your lashes before putting on your false lashes. Thus, the eyes will look harmonious.
   • Prefer mascara with a small brush. This will make it easier to paint on only a small part of the lashes.
3. 3 Use eyeliner. Liquid eyeliner usually sticks to false eyelashes.This can shorten the lifespan of your eyelashes. If you use eyeliner, then opt for eyeliner if you wear magnetic false eyelashes.
   • In general, if you have false eyelashes, you shouldn't use any liquid makeup around your eyes.
4. 4 Do not apply mascara to magnetic lashes. Be careful not to apply mascara to your false eyelashes. False eyelashes will last longer if kept clean. Remember to apply mascara before using your false eyelashes.

Part 2 of 3: Putting on Magnetic False Eyelashes

1. 1 Place a microfiber cloth in front of you. Each time you put on your eyelashes, place a microfiber cloth in front of you with magnetic false eyelashes on top of it. If you accidentally drop your lashes while securing, it will be easier to find them if they fall on the napkin.
2. 2 Place the top half over your native lashes. The upper half is marked with a dot or other markings. Check your eyelash instructions for how the upper half is labeled. Take the top section and place it directly over your native lashes, near the outer corner of your eye. Try to keep your false lashes as close to your lash line as possible.
3. 3 Secure the bottom half. The lower half is marked with a dot of a different color. Use your thumb and forefinger to grab the bottom half of your false eyelashes. Place it right under the top half. The magnets will be attracted to each other.
4. 4 Remove eyelashes. If you want to remove your lashes, gently grab them with your thumb and forefinger. Rub them gently with your fingers until the magnets disengage. Then gently stretch the halves in different directions and remove from your own eyelashes.
   • Magnetic eyelashes can be reused many times before they need to be replaced. Store lashes in their original packaging after removal. Place the box in a safe place to protect it from damage.

Part 3 of 3: Avoiding Common Mistakes

1. 1 Wash your hands before using false eyelashes. Wash your hands each time before touching your eyes and eyelids. Moisten your hands with clean water, lather and wash them for 20 seconds, then rinse. Dry your hands with a clean towel.
2. 2 Let your makeup dry before putting on your false eyelashes. It may take a few touches to set the lashes properly. Therefore, your eye makeup must dry before you put on your eyelashes. Minimal eye makeup is a good idea for a while until you get used to fake eyelashes.
3. 3 Practice at home before putting on your false eyelashes when going out. It can take a while to get used to magnetic lashes. Practice before using your eyelashes outside the home - chances are high that they will look odd initially.
