Amazon promo codes are alphanumeric combinations that are entered in a special field before paying. You can benefit from these codes and other discounts by researching coupon sites, discovering deals of the month, and learning how to navigate Amazon.com. Plus Amazon coupons can be used instantly.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: Getting Coupons on Amazon Coupon Page =

1. 1 Open up http://www.amazon.com in any web browser. You can use any browser on your computer or mobile device.
2. 2 Log in to your Amazon account. Hover your cursor over Acccounts & Lists and click Sign In. Enter your username and password in the appropriate fields and click on the "Sign In" button. You will be logged into your account and taken to the Amazon home page.
3. 3 Press Today's Deals (Today's Deals). This link is in the middle of the horizontal menu below the search bar. It will take you to a list of all the promotions and specials that are valid on Amazon today.
   • On a mobile device, you will find this link in the menu ☰.
   • Check out the Gold Box and Lightning Deals sections on the front page. These are extremely limited offers and are typically valid within 1 to 24 hours of being posted. If you click on the “Add to Cart” box, you will not need to enter a promotional code to receive a discount if you buy the item within the specified time period.
4. 4 Click on Coupons (Coupons). This option is in the horizontal bottom-level menu at the top of the page and will take you to the Amazon coupons page at http://www.amazon.com/Coupons/. If you are using a smartphone or tablet, you need to use a mobile browser as coupons are not displayed in the Amazon app.
   • Coupons are special products that include special offers from Amazon, such as a percentage discount or getting a second item when you buy one.
   • See what coupons are available. Go through the page and look at the coupons available. Coupons are available for a wide variety of purchases - electronics, books, office supplies, and more.
5. 5 Click on Clip coupon (Cut Coupon) to apply the code to the items in your cart. The cut coupons will be automatically applied in checkout if the coupon terms and conditions are met (for example, if you selected a coupon that gives a $ 2 discount on a certain model of LED string, you must have at least one such string in your shopping cart).
   • You can click on the coupon to view it. There are coupons for a group of products of a certain type and brand, for example, for Pampers diapers, and when you click on a coupon, you will see all the diapers of that brand on which the discount is applied. If the coupon is valid for a specific product, clicking on the coupon will take you to the page of that product, where you will see the coupon discount indicated in green next to the Coupon label.
6. 6 Complete the purchase process. Please make sure the discount is displayed on the order page before paying. If it does not appear, you may not have met the requirements for a discount.
   • Do not forget to pay for your purchase shortly after applying the coupon. You may decide to search for similar products online to check if the offer is really that good, but remember that sometimes coupons are limited in time, so don't wait weeks before making a purchase.

Method 2 of 2: Coupons from Other Sites

1. 1 Visit sites such as RetailMeNot, Tech Bargains, Deal Coupon, Current Codes, and Savings.com. Check for coupons on these sites at the beginning of the month, as new promo codes are often posted at the beginning of each month.
2. 2 Enter "Amazon" in the search bar on sites.
3. 3 Look for the coupon you would like to use. See what coupons are available on these sites. Coupons are often organized into categories such as Electronics or Home Goods.
4. 4 Estimate the likelihood that the promo code will work. Next to the coupon, you can see the expiration date and the success rate to help you make a decision.
5. 5 Click on the button Use this Coupon (Use this coupon) or Activate (Activate). Most sites will take you straight to Amazon because they get rewarded for the sales that happen when you navigate from those sites.
   • The advantage of going straight to the site is that you don't need to enter a promo code when paying. However, if you wish, you can search for other offers, and write down the code and go to Amazon in another browser window.
6. 6 Go to Amazon.com. Add items to your cart.
7. 7 Redeem your code. Enter the promo code under the order amount in the shopping cart. Click the Apply button to activate the code.
8. 8 Complete checkout and select single address delivery. Most promotional codes will not allow you to use more than one address.
9. 9 Complete your purchase.
10. 10 Go back to the coupon site you used. There you can indicate whether the coupon worked or not.
