Rating and cash are the two most important assets in the game. They open up access to new cars, spare parts (improvements), new levels and much more. For a skilled rider, collecting these resources will not be difficult. However, the only way to get truly unlimited cash and rankings is to ignore the rules and resort to cheats.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: Get Unlimited Cash and Ranking

1. 1 Go to the download page of the Save Editor. Open the MediaFire download page in your browser.
2. 2 Click on the green download button on the page. Download an archive named nfsmw_save_editor.rar to your computer.
3. 3 Extract the SaveEditor. Right-click on the nfsmw_save_editor.rar file and select Extract to Current Folder.
4. 4 Use the mouse to drag the SaveEditor.exe file onto the desktop.
5. 5 Run SaveEditor.exe by double clicking the mouse. The alias field should display your NFSMW 2005 profile name.
   • If the save files (files that store your achievements in the game) are not in the default folder, enter the path to them in the "Folder containing saved profiles" field and click "Update".
6. 6 Enter a value for cash and rating. To do this, use the fields "Money" (Cash) and "Bounty" (Rating), respectively. Enter any number you like.
7. 7 Click on “Save” to change the cash amount and rating in Need for Speed ​​Most Wanted to the specified values.

Method 2 of 2: Getting unlimited rating from a bug

1. 1 Start the "Career" mode. From the main menu of the game, press Enter to select the first menu item, which is called "Career".
2. 2 Open the Garage menu. In the Career menu, press Enter to select the first item on the Continue Career menu. The Garage menu will open.
3. 3 Resume the game in free roam mode. In the "Garage" menu, select "To the city". You will be taken to the streets of Rockport, the fictional city where the game takes place.
4. 4 Drive the streets. Use the up key to accelerate, the down key to brake, the left and right keys to turn left and right.
5. 5 Make the cops chase you. To do this, do the following:
   • ram the police cars;
   • ram civilian vehicles;
   • exceed your speed;
   • drive in the oncoming lane;
   • knock down signs and billboards on the side of the road.
6. 6 Head to the Grapepoint Bus Station as soon as the cops get on your tail. Grapepoint is in the very center of Rockport (press M on your keyboard to open the map).
7. 7 Break the bus station window. You will see a ramp leading to a ledge.
8. 8 Drive to the top of the ledge and stop. The cops won't be able to enter the ledge. This will give you unlimited rating as the cops keep trying unsuccessfully to catch you.
