• What do you need

A blocked or private subscriber hides the name and number from the identifier services. If you receive a lot of these calls, you can find out the number using your phone company's services or special smartphone apps.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: Method One: Call Blocked Numbers from Landline Phones

1. 1 Make sure your telephone company offers a callback service. You may need to register for this service or pay.
2. 2 Pick up the phone. Press star ( *) 69 (for US)
3. 3 Wait for the signal to go. If an error occurs and the telephone company is unable to collect the caller information, you will hear an error message.
4. 4 Ask the person for information about their phone. Ask the operator to blacklist this number
5. 5 Turn on the Reject Anonymous Calls feature. Pick up the phone and dial asterisk ( *) 77. The service will be activated and all anonymous, private or blocked numbers will be rejected.
6. 6 Call the police and report threats and harassment. In some cases, the police can trace the caller and stop the harassment.

Method 2 of 2: Method Two: Call Blocked Numbers from Smartphones

1. 1 Open the App Store on your iPhone or Play Market on your Android phone.
2. 2 Search for “TrapCall” using the search bar.
3. 3 When you find it, click Install. TrapCall is free for both Apple and Android phones.
4. 4 Tap the app when it's installed to launch the app.
5. 5 Sign up for a TrapCall subscription. Basic plan includes license plate recognition. Premium and Ultimate plans include recording of incoming calls, voicemail messages, and the name and address of the caller.
   • Subscribe 1 year to basic, premium and ultimate for $ 3.95, $ 7.95 and $ 19.95 per month respectively. A 2-year Basic subscription is available for $ 3.71 per month.
   • Choose from basic, premium and ultimate monthly subscriptions, which are available for $ 4.95, $ 9.95 and $ 24.95 respectively.
6. 6 Wait for a call from a blocked number. Reject the call by pressing the red button or double-pressing the sleep button.
7. 7 Wait for the call to be redirected to TrapCall. Within a few seconds, the number will be identified and sent to your phone.
8. 8 Tap the number on your phone if you want to call back.
