In this article, you will learn how to send pre-formatted programming code using the computer version of Telegram.
Steps
1 Copy the code you want to send. In a file or application, highlight the code and press Ctrl+C (on Windows) or ⌘ Cmd+C (on Mac OS X).
2 Start Telegram. On Windows, the Telegram icon is in the Start menu
... On Mac OS X, look for this icon in the Applications folder.
3 Click on the contact you want to send the code to. A correspondence with this contact will open.
4 Click on the box Write a message (To write a message). It's at the bottom of the screen.
5 Enter ``` without spaces. Do this at the beginning and at the end of the code so that the format does not change.
6 Click on Ctrl+V (on Windows) or ⌘ Cmd+V (on Mac OS X). The copied code will be pasted into the new message field.
7 Enter ```. Now these three characters should be at the beginning and at the end of the code.
8 Click on ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return. The code will be sent without changing its format.
