You may already know how to wrap gifts, but the task becomes a little more difficult when you are dealing with a large box. If you have ever tried to wrap a gift and have encountered the problem that the edges of the wrapper did not close the bottom of the box poorly, leaving a small gap, these instructions are for you.

Steps

1. 1 Measure out the wrapping paper - To begin with, carefully pack the item, if it is fragile, inside the box and turn the box over. Measure out a piece of paper long enough to wrap the box in a circle. Leave some margin to fold the wrapping neatly around the edges.
2. 2 Measure the paper around the edges - make sure the wrapper covers both sides of the box a little more than half.
3. 3 Wrap the box along - place the paper so that the box is wrapped along its length, leaving the same amount of wrapping around the edges. Before glueing the edges with tape, lightly fold up the top edge and cover the torn or cut side of the paper with it.
4. 4 Fold up the side edge - fold the paper down on one side of the box. At the same time, do everything carefully so as not to move the box in the paper.
   • First, use double-sided tape to tape the paper to one side of the square edge of the box, making sure the wrapper is flat against the box.
   • Then glue the other side of the paper in the same way ..
   • Fold the remaining bottom edge of the paper slightly and fold it toward the center. Glue with double-sided tape.
5. 5 Repeat - Repeat the same on the other side, folding some of the paper down, then folding the wrapper along the sides and the bottom up. Glue everything with tape. Tie a bow around the box if you like.
6. 6 Ready.

Tips

• Using double-sided tape, you will wrap the gift so that the tape will not be visible on the outside. If you don't mind the tape visible, you can use regular duct tape.
• You can also lightly press all the edges of the package with your fingers to give the box a nice bright, clean look. It will look very professional.
• If you only have single-sided tape, you can make loops out of small pieces of duct tape, sticky side out. This will create a homemade double-sided tape. The wrapper will not fit as tightly as with real double-sided tape, but the tape will not be visible on the package.
