Lighthouses have long helped ships navigate and navigate dangerous waters. Even after many lighthouses around the world were closed, they have not ceased to be symbols of sea romance.

If you want to draw your own lighthouse, it won't be that difficult. This article will show you how to draw a simple lighthouse in a few steps.

Steps

1. 1 Start drawing from the top of the lighthouse where the light mechanism is located. Draw an egg-shaped shape and then add a semicircular line in the middle of the "egg".
2. 2 Draw a wide cylinder below the "egg". Thus, the upper part of the lighthouse will be completed.
3. 3 Draw a large cylinder below the small one drawn earlier. This will be a small space under the top of the lighthouse.
4. 4 Draw the rest of the lighthouse. It will be a long, wide cylinder.
   • Highlight the junction of the lower and middle parts of the lighthouse. Draw two semicircles at this location (small and large).
   • Draw the details of the top of the lighthouse, including the lines of the window frames and the light itself. To simplify the task, you can sketch these lines from the picture above.
5. 5 At the top of the lighthouse, draw a ball with an antenna emerging from it. Circle the lighthouse using a marker. Erase unnecessary lines before coloring the drawing.
6. 6 Color in the drawing. For example, you can make it with red and white stripes, such beacons are most often depicted. But you can also color it as you like.
7. 7 Try painting other lighthouses. There are many different lighthouses around the world. Look for photos and pictures of lighthouses in books or on the Internet to get an idea of ​​what you will be drawing. This way you will not only improve your drawing skills, but also learn a lot about lighthouses.
