Flea & Tick Relief is a medical prophylactic solution that prevents ticks and fleas and kills their eggs. Such a remedy is applied once to the dog's skin. It is most effective when applied correctly. Here are some tips on how to properly use flea and tick repellent on your dog.

Steps

1. 1 Prepare a dose.
   • Hold the product upright with the thin end up. This is the applicator.
   • Tear off the plastic cap. If it is very stiff, cut it off with scissors.
   • Flip the product down and break the nozzle at the applicator.
2. 2 Stand the dog up straight.
   • Position the dog so that it is straight and firm. Ask another person to hold the dog if necessary. This position will help ensure better access to the place where the product will be applied.
3. 3 Part the dog's coat.
   • Find a point in the middle of the back between the shoulder blades (withers of the dog), spread the fur with your hands and expose the skin.
   • If your dog's coat is too long, use hair clips to hold it in place. This will help you apply flea and tick repellent to your skin and not your coat.
4. 4 Apply the product to your dog's skin.
   • Bring the drop bag to the dog's bare skin at the withers with the open tip.
   • Press down on the package so that the entire dose of the product enters the skin. Check that all drops have flowed out of the package.
5. 5 Avoid contact with this area.
   • Try not to touch the withers of the dog where the product was applied for 24 hours. This will ensure proper absorption of the drug and prevent it from getting on your hands or fingers.
6. 6 Keep your dog dry throughout the day.
   • Do not bathe or take your dog outside in the rain for 24 hours after applying the drug so that it can be completely absorbed.
7. 7 Use this remedy regularly.
   • According to veterinarians' instructions, flea and tick repellent should be used once a month.
   • Check with your veterinarian before using this medication more than once a month.

Warnings

• Avoid getting the product in your dog's eyes and mouth. Make sure your dog does not lick the drops for 24 hours.
• These remedies vary depending on the size of the animal and its type (cat or dog), so make sure you pick the right drops.
