This wiki page will show you how to check the weather on your iPhone by swiping right when your phone is locked.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: Turn on weather widget on lock screen

1. 

   Open the Settings section of the iPhone. This app has a gray (⚙️) gear image located on the home screen.

   Press Notifications (Notification). This option is near the top, next to a red icon with a white square inside.

3. 

   Scroll down and tap News (News). Applications will be listed in alphabetical order.

   Slide the button next to "Show on Lock Screen" to the "On" position. It's in the second part of the screen and will turn green.
   • Guaranteed mode Allow Notifications (Allow notification) and Show in Notification Center (Show in notification center) is also enabled.

   Press the "Home" button. It's the circular button below the screen.

   Swipe right. This will open the "Today" section of Notification Center (Notification center) from the main screen.

   Scroll down and tap Edit (Repair). There is a circular button below all the options.

   Scroll down. The applications in the second section will be listed in alphabetical order.

   Press the green button ⊕ next to the Weather section. This will add widgets Weather (Weather) on Notification Center (Notification center).
   • A red circle means the selection is already in Notification Center (Notification center).
   • Scroll to the top of the screen and hold "≡" next to the item Weather (Weather) to slide up or down, change the position of this option in Notification Center (Notification center).

Method 2 of 2: See weather on lock screen
